dandelion wine?

anyone here ever make/try dandelion wine? my friend dave, the kids and i spent an afternoon picking dandelions on cobb's hill and dave's turning them into wine. can't wait till it's ready, he makes damn good mead.

My mom experimented with dandelion wine when I was younger..
I'm not sure what happened to it?

I remember a couple of the bottles exploded.. and it smelled funny?

How's that for useless informaton?
