My jaw has been hurting a lot today, especially for hte last couple hours My wisdom teeth were supposed to come out a while ago I think I may have to go face the dentist or oral surgeon and get them taken out finally god I hate the dentist, they scare the piss out of me
My man is sooo phobic. I might be asking for your advice soon.. I have to go to the appointment with him to make sure he'll keep it. He's getting his impacted wisdom teeth done soon. He warned me that he's real phobic. I'm not quite sure what I'm in for, but I know they're gonna knock his ass out for the procedure. As for me, I just hate the way they lean all over your head, & that friggin' mini hoover thingy.
It's nothing to get worried about. I had one wisdom tooth that fully erupted sideways. They had to saw it into pieces to get it out. I wasn't out, just numbed. Didn't hurt at all, but it was a weird feeling and the smell... yucky... burning tooth. Gross. But the whole thing took about 15 minutes from when I walked in the door to when I walked out. It hurt a bit a few hours after the procedure, but nothing all that terrible. Just knock it out and move on.
My Jaw is Hurting Also...As my Ear Infection From Right Ear Has Spread to Surrounding Bone... How Exciting... I Can not Open my Mouth Wide Enough to Eat a Banana...
that made me nauseaus just to read it Ugh Fritz... I can't speak for all phobicky people, but I end up shaking really really badly, just trembling by the end of it. for big stuff, start to hyperventilate a little. I think that if it's anything more serious than getting fillings done, they should be able to give him/me some sort of gas to either relax or knock the person out i hope
Luckily I haven't had any problems with my wisdom teeth. Two of them are impacted, but the other two are through the gums. My dentist knows how phobic and am about even coming in for a routine visit, and he told me that unless I was having problems, he didn't see a point in removing them. But in your case, if you're having pain from them, you'd be better off having them taken out. I'm sure you'll feel much better afterwards!
You need to take better care of yourself missy! Is there nothign they can do for the infection in the bone now? HCM, it's a very sporadic pain, only get it maybe every three months, and giving my teeth a good brushing, mouthwash and then sleeping almost always makes it go away They're impacted too... or some of them are and some are erupting. I shoudl get 'em out since they're not against the other teeth right, leave a spot where food could gather if I didn't brush my teeth as often as I do, blech
Is it possible you grind your teeth at night? I never got my wisdom teeth but I do grind especially when I am stressed out. I even went to an oral surgen but thankfully after trying to manage my stress I don't grind at night as much.
Operation this Monday Coming up...Not Sure What They will Do... Ah Well...A Week of Fasting Isn't so Bad... ...
sometimes I wake up grinding my teeth, but it's pretty rare and I don't ever wake up with a toothache, it usually develops towards the end of the day if it does happen at all Mudpuddle, smoothies maybe? Protein drinks and a straw? some nutrition is better than nothing eh
Yes They Did... And it Has Been a Very Painful Experiance... But What Doesn't Kill me...Can't be too Bad...
I'm in the middle of similar crap now - 2 trips down, 3 to go. If I can do this, anyone can. PM for proven tips if interested - not comfortable here...
