daisymelan's dreads

yeah, I've had my white hairs since I was about 19 or 20. I fought them with dye for a long time and have finally given up and embraced them

 

Liberating!

Edited to add that I finished my last three dreads at the back and underneath yesterday on June 13th. I did T & R to the last five and after I figured out how to do it, I realized that it holds the knots way better than backcombing. I love how I have a head of random dreads created at different times.

 

I have a few pics to add here... none that are great close ups, but wanted to bump this thread so they will have to do.

You guys really do make me feel great! The funny pic was taken the night my sis took me out for my 30th. lol I actually got ID'd that night and the lady was shocked when the youngest person at the table was 28. That was a great bday present!
