Cuddling after casual sex

I sometimes cuddle after casual sex. Not meaningful cuddling, but laying next to each other and holding each other sometimes. I like that.

But then again I settle for no less because just the physical act without affection is to me unfulfilling. And yet, we were not sexually possessive toward each other.

That's absolutely and perfectly true!

But while with somebody for the night, doesn't everybody just hope it will work out to be something more lasting? Cuddling would seem to be the non-verbal way of asking for this..

depends on the partner for me, based on how casual of sex we're talking about.
