Crystals

I've collected quite a few rocks since I first posted this, check these out. I got a huge tourmaline rock for five bucks, clear calcite, amazonite, atlantisite, flourite wand, green flourite, bismuth, moonstone, blue kyanite, smokey quartz, blood stone, tigers eye, golden healer, chrophase and my birthstone amethyst ... What else should I check out?

Nice piece of tourmaline... I have a piece about that size that is wrapped, I can wear it on a chain or leather cord.


You can use the inner facets of calcite for scrying during meditation... Try it, just make sure you come back. No sense getting lost in a crystal unless you need to be.

Rough cut amethyst, (jade?) buddha, blue crystal "diamond", rainbow magnet ball, a total of 3 green and orange "magic marbles" acquired near a tiki shroom statue (in my sig pic), mother of pearl, various opals and opalites, fake amethyst, labradorite, redwood from a tree that fell in Big Sur, amethyst

amethyst has always been my favorite stone, and recently I've been attracted to opal, opalite and moon stone.

 

Moon Stone is nice stuff.

 

I have a nice collection of crystals and stones. My favourite to work with is clear quartz, I have about 30 pieces all in various sizes, not polished. My other faves are Jasper and Onyx, I have a few of those too. My stones are sitting in salt water right now, cleansing after some pretty deep meditation recently.

I love my moonstone, it works great with kyanite, as well with in conjunction with tourmaline and calcite.

There must be a god behind all of this, because it's just too coincidental that there are rocks on this earth which have metaphysical healing properties. And he must be cruel too, since animals haven't discovered them yet, just us humans. Imagine how wonderful the world would be if god gave animals the power of healing stones too!

I use amber on my pets.

I know humans learn about healing plants by watching animals...they'd probably carry stones around if they had pockets.

 

I really don't think this is indicitive of a higher power, and I take "crystal healing" with a grain of salt. And who's to say the animals haven't figured it out? "god" doesn't "give" "power" to anybody or anything, and it's silly to think we're any better than other animals...
