I think cricket is a nice game. Which lasts for a long time. And you have to keep patience. And I think Sachin Tendulakar is best cricketer ever in history.
Test Cricket is great - a game that lasts 5 days and usually ends in a drawer!. It's a cracking game to watch with a crate of lager on a hot summers day. Don't really like ODI and don't get me started on the horrors of T20 cricket (Prostitution Cricket). Sachin has probably been the best cricketer of the last 20 years.
I've always been more of a test watcher, I don't know why but I guess I have always been attracted to the longevity of sports matches. I like NASCAR because they are long races, 3hrs or more. It puts the stress and anxiety on everything and everyone to perform their best. I also like how the race develops because of this, much like how I enjoy watching American Football and how momentum swings over that long period of time. Test matches can go for 5 days! Of course I never like 20/20 for that reason but I have been able to stream a couple of matches lately and find them more enjoyable. Back in the year 2000ish I was more into cricket because of friends, I knew all the players back then. They're all different now, I don't know anybody. Anyway, go the Scorchers.
I don't know. Men and their obsession with playing with balls. Don't mind a bit of tennis and football. But kind of bores me shitless.
India kicked Australias arse recently, on our soil I was very glad Watched some cricket as a teen, but what really put me off in the last 20/25 years has been the Australian team being such a bunch of wankers
Cricket.... has to be in the top 5 most boring sports ever created. It's right up there with snooker. Mind you, some people say that there are only 3 types of sport, hunting, fishing and horse racing. Everything else is just a game.
Australian cricket seems to have gone backwards after the ball tampering issue in S.A and the 3 players getting banned.
