I had an interesting experience today. On the way home from work I stopped at the credit union. Since I was already barefoot (I had simply carried my shoes with me when I left the office and got in my truck) I went into the credit union that way. As I was at the counter conducting my business a lady came out of one of the back offices obviously on the way to the other side of the building. She noticed my bare feet and exclaimed "where are your shoes?!" The teller who had seen me come in kind of giggled. I replied "They are out in my truck." The lady continued on her way as she said "I'd be so scared to do that!" I told her "You just have to be careful." I finished my transaction and headed out.
The lady was over reacting a bit. You were in a bank in your bare feet. What's the worse that can happen in a place like that? When getting out of bed she probably puts on her slippers just to walk across the room.....
This is true! Better to handle the money with our feet that live in contact with dirt on a regular basis, than to dirty our hands touching that money.
Yea I have read that most money contains trace amounts of drugs like cocaine, that could be a myth though.
