Credit Checks for Equal Opportunity Employment?

I think that's crap. What about the white collar criminals at Enron? They probably had excellent credit to get all those business loans to start that company. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Plenty of rich people have been imprisoned for cheating on their taxes (robbing the government) like Leona Helmsley. Plus there are rich shop-lifters just as there are poor people who return lost items to their rightful owners when they could have benefitted & receive no reward.

It's just an opportunity to add to the Universal Braintrust & Big Gover wanting to know everything that they don't need to fucking know. Running a credit check is a cheaper way to do a background check. But even credit agencies will tell you if your credit is checked more than twice a year, it puts you in a suspicious category which then affects your credit.

Looking for a job allows potential employers access to damaging information that they use to blatantly discriminate against imperfect candidates for the job. Discrimination is against the law. I just think they have computers & want to act like they fucking actually use them & are so here & now. And I think there are not enough jobs in this economy so they are stretched so thin they only take the tenderloin & throw the rest of the cow away. So why in the Hell do they do it? Because they are assholes who want to know everything about you. Plus they interview 100 people for one lousy job & hire one person & keep the files about the other 99.

Then credit agencies even get their data compromised & that leaves people open to identity theft. So if someone ruins their credit, they can't get a job. But you consider that they are the potential thieves because they were victims?
