Puzzling and creepy. Some roomies just keep taking. The Quatermass Xperiment 1955 just may have inspired The Blob 1958.
Suspenseful and creepy. Will there be a remake of The Fly 1958 featuring a CGI spider? Will the inventor ever return to his former self and burn his own laboratory down?
I saw that movie a long time ago on HBO and I expected more from a movie directed by John Frankenheimer The movie was set in Maine, but it was filmed somewhere in the Pacific Northwest which ruined it for me, and then of course there was Talia Shire fresh off the set of Rocky II and she didn’t appear to be in the best of health.
I have seen quite a few of the following films he has directed. Very good filmography! A At the Suicide of the Last Jew in the World in the Last Cinema in the World B The Brood C Camera (2000 film) Cosmopolis (film) Crash (1996 film) Crimes of the Future (1970 film) Crimes of the Future (2022 film) D A Dangerous Method Dead Ringers (film) The Dead Zone (film) E Eastern Promises Existenz F Fast Company (1979 film) The Fly (1986 film) From the Drain H A History of Violence M M. Butterfly (film) Maps to the Stars N Naked Lunch (film) R Rabid (1977 film) Red Cars S Scanners Shivers (1975 film) Spider (2002 film) Stereo (1969 film) T To Each His Own Cinema Transfer (1966 film) V Videodrome
The Fly is my favorite Cronenberg film followed by Scanners: the head burst scene is a classic The Brood Rabid (who could forget porn star Marilyn (behind the green door) Chambers Videodrome: with James woods and Deborah Harry (aka Blondie) Crash: I liked the movie but I thought it was overrated As an actor he was great as Dr Decker in the movie Nightbreed
I have seen every one of them. Existenz is another well promoted one. I'll have go back for the Marilyn. lol
