In the middle of the confusion, what is your position? Are you scared by the covid 19 or not?
Do I have to be frightened to push a door in a shop or to be close to a passerby , do I have to be frightened to handle a pack of oats at the supermarket or take a public bus?Or to try a jacket in a store?Do I have to bleach very surface like mad in the house?Do I have to stop taking the neighbours in the car?Keep away from people that are talking loud?
    What is the truth?
Second question: if I swim in a pool or at the beach , can I catch the virus, does it live in the water?
I think I am becoming less and less scared , I am curious to know about all of you on this forum..

I take caution. I have never wanted to live my life in fear. I have always believed a life lived in fear, is a life half lived. But as I grew older, I found out that at times you may have to depend on others. Namely doctors, and no I don't trust them. They see $ signs. So I don't even want to go to a doctor for a cold or flu. I am retired so have no need to go anywhere, and might get a bit bored. But I can live with that.
I have read that as many people die from flu, every year as from Covid 19, so far. I don't trust what we hear in the news. It is election year. in USA. And for damn sure I don't trust politicians.

I would like to see things return to normal, but that may never happen.

I don't want to rant on forever. But I do want to add. This mornings news was talking about unemployment reaching 30%. REALLY what did people expect. An extra $600 on top of regular benefits.

As you say, Jidmanjan, this is difficult to get the truth, cause all sorts of informations , often contradictory, are in the medias. So we dont know what to think and who to trust.
If the flu kills as many people than covid 19, why do we have to go through all this, and why do they make a difference for covid 19? But some sources now are saying that this is no more true.I am a little bit lost!
Yes, we are depending on others, and if I am ok in my confinement, if other people are suffering or starving or without job and cash, this will affect me too, maybe in some cases they can even break into my house or raid my fruit trees...It is good for everybody that we all live in prosperity.
As for doctors, it seems to be they are making a lot of mistakes, especially trying to cure this covid 19..As Dax is saying, my job is to protect my health, be careful what you may swallow coming from a pharmaceutical laboratory!
I am more concerned not to end up in an hospital nowadays than to get covid 19, I have read that one death out of 3 is due to a medical mistake in hospital, but one more time is it really true?

  6. Like other recent viruses Covid-19 can be passed in semen. Time to wear another glove folks!

Put a mask on that rascal!
    Wrap that package!

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”

I'm kinda bored of it to be honest...at first it was surreal and almost exciting like some 'outbreak' dystopian fiction film, then it started to suck arse, then it became a bit sad......now it's just a great big sack of hmmmmmmph!

    I'm not scared.
But that's rooted in not being scared of death.
No shame on anyone who is scared.

Take it in stride, protect yourself as best you can and remember----this too shall pass. Life is precarious at best--never know when your number's up, but rest assured--it will be up.

Covid is a part of human life until a vaccine is found. Restrictions are lifting here and lucky for me I don't know anyone who has tested positive. I would be fine going to a public event like a concert today. You can't live like a germaphobe with a virus like this. I still consider it a serious health risk but I trust the medical system to do its best.

Half way through this I read a story that told me there were a billion rats in Sydney and because there weren't as many people out at night leaving a mess, the rats were spreading out, taking over the streets.

That's what stopped me going out at night, *shivers

I didn't care about the virus, but rats, jeezus ooo ooooh ooooh oh ew

I am not that afraid even though the state that I live in has been pretty affected by the virus. People close to me have gotten it, etc. Maybe I should be more nervous, but the mortality rate is so low and I am in a low risk group, so...

    Not Scared.

The only way I'm getting Corona Virus is if I follow the government's advice and get a test or a flu shot that's contaminated. Other than that I ain't been in lockdown or self isolation, I just ain't been seein' no one either. There's absolutely no reason to stop doing what I want to do. Sure I might not be able to have a sit down meal, or a drink a friends, or play pool properly but I found other things to keep myself occupied with and I think it's been a fantastic change for me. Sorry to all the shit that's going on in the world but I'm doin' alright because I won't let it get to me, cause I reckon it's all bullshit anyway.

Just let me reassure everyone, THIS IS NOT ALL BULLSHIT, covid_19 is a truly horrific virus and I would say don't go living your life totally scared but please don't just carry on like nothing is happening. Take sensible precautions, keep your distance and for the love of God dont go trying on jackets in a store, seriously, it's a virus spread airborne and through contact, so touch as little as you can when doing your shopping. I would happily sacrifice my liberty for a year if it meant myself and my family are safe and well.

They want to try and create a major invasion.. In three days they would have been across the border with this stuff! They pissed about the cover story they knew they could get it out there without it. My men was in that country when it got hit. Our orders were to go in there and get my men before they disappeared!
