WHO'S NEXT - THE WHO: The cover artwork shows a photograph, taken at Easington Colliery, of the band apparently having just urinated on a large concrete piling protruding from a slag heap. The decision to shoot the picture came from Entwistle and Moon discussing Stanley Kubrick and the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.[ According to photographer Ethan Russell, only Townshend actually urinated against the piling, so rainwater was tipped from an empty film canister to achieve the desired effect. The sky in the background was added later to give the image what Russell called "this other worldly quality."
THE BEATLES - THE BEATLES: ("The 'WHITE' Album") Blamk, with only the title embossed was the BeaTles most diverse album - inside it was another story. The real goodies are the four enclosed glossy photos and the 24″x36″ poster. These are rarely found in used copies, especially not in a good state of condition. (But I still have mine! = ) The Beatles (album) - Wikipedia

STRANGE DAYS - THE DOORS: The album cover of Strange Days, photographed by Joel Brodsky, depicts a group of street performers in New York. The location of the photograph is at Sniffen Court, a residential alley next to East 36th Street between Lexington and Third Avenue in Manhattan. The availability of such performers pictured was low, so Brodsky's assistant stood in as a juggler while a random cab driver was paid $5 to pose playing the trumpet. Twin dwarfs were hired, with one appearing on the front cover and one appearing on the back cover, which is the other half of the same photo on the front cover. However, a group shot of the band does appear on a poster in the background of both covers, bearing captions of the band and album name. - (People are indeed Strange these days, indeed).
TRICK OF THE TAIL - GENESIS The seventh album release was the first album to feature drummer Phil Collins as lead vocalist following the departure of Peter Gabriel. A beautifully crafted piece of Eight tracks which effortlessly moved from begining to 'Los Endos' - IMO It was a critical and commercial success in the UK and U.S., reaching No. 3 and No. 31 respectively.
The infamous NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS - Here's the Sex Pistols: By the time of its release, the Sex Pistols were already controversial, having spoken profanity on live TV, been fired from two record labels, and been banned from playing live in some parts of Britain. The album title added to that controversy, with some people finding the word "bollocks" offensive. Many record stores refused to carry it and some record charts refused to list its title, showing just a blank space instead. (N.B. Mine came within a Brown paper bag, (stored underneath the shop counter) which was sellotaped up as the shop owners request/demand-ed) - How times have changed
