speaking of which my cat just came in my room for a morning sesh.

 

I was talking to an Officer (I'll call him an officer because he actually earned my respect a bit) at Tufts University during thier 4/20 celebration. Basically he was just there to make sure nothing crazy happened but he wasnt going to bust people for smoking.

We got to talking and he was like "If it was up to me pot would be legal, I smoked it as a kid and I know its nothing worse than alcohol." Then I got to talking about how much of an impact on legalization it would make if a large group of like minded officers got together to form a group along the lines of Cops for the Legalization of Marijuana, and how they could say that marijuana prohibition makes their job less effective because they concentrate so much time and money on busting us when harsher crimes are being commited and going un noticed.

Unfortuneately even though he thought that that would be a pretty strong and listened to group he said that most of his fellow officers arent as informed on the topic as they should be and it would be hard to organize such a thing. Oh well it was fun to at least find one cool officer.

i used to live in a building, where my friends lived on different floors, but int he same building. we were a tight group of friends. about 5 in total, and we'd always meet up for joints cause it was pretty much just an elevator ride away.
anyway, long story short, this guy that didn't livein the building but would chill with us all the time actually became a cop. it wasn't over night, but he wasn't exactly forth coming about it either. so clearly, i didn't know.
one day i burst into dwayne's apartment with a giant joint, comparable to the length of a wendy's biggie sized cup. i'm all excited and was like, "who wants to get soned?" holding up the massive spliff.
strangely enough everyone had their heads down, and wouldn't answer. it was strange. then someone leans and whispers in my ear, "adrian's a cop now"
lol, put a big downer on the day.

 

Shit that sucks. I was watching Jurassic Park last night as well. But by your room, you mean your dorm room right? That is why they were able to just come in I think, because it was at school. If not, then super shit. Hopefully all goes well

 

Yeah I hate most cops. There are a few that actually have a sense of objectivity though, and can realize you're not hurting anyone. Whenever I got arrested for driving on a suspended license, the cop let me pay for the gas I had just stolen and didn't charge me for stealing it, and he also let me keep the bubbler that was in my car. It was still in the car when I got the car back from the impound lot. haha

That's still a shitty situation Sara. You're right though.....it could've been a lot worse, so be thankful. I bet them cops smoked your weed........fuckin bitchfucks.

 

Do you live in a dorm or somthing? If not I'da been askin for a search warrent....

They don't need a warrant to enter your home if they have probable cause, like strong marijuana smell.

But yeah, that does suck, I'm sorry they took your piece. You are a lucky girl though, I'm glad things weren't any worse.

i don't think that's true. if that were the case then no warrents would ever be needed for ANYTHING. aside from possession, if cops wanted to search someones house for whatever reason and knew they needed one, all they'd have to say is "i smell pot" and there goes the need of a warrent.

 

right, because there is no "definant" smell for anything. they could use that as an excuse for entering people's homes for whatever they want. i would have asked for a search warrant.

well i've been smoking in my basement for the past couple days, and everything is going well... so i think i'm good. thank GOD, cause i just got some awesome headies today

i would love to post some pics, cause this weed i have right now is pretty bomb.
but i lost my camera somewhere in this damn house, so i can't really take any.. i could on my cell phone, but there's no use really, cause they only take shit pictures anyway.
