"Wartime" measures have been implemented in some parts of the Chinese province of Hubei, which is home to Wuhan — the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak. Some residents have been barred from leaving their apartments, and officials in protective suits were going door-to-door in Wuhan this week looking for infected people.

"This must be taken seriously," Wang Zhonglin, Wuhan's newly selected Communist Party secretary, said, according to The Associated Press.


There are now more than 75,000 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus globally and more than 2,200 deaths — most of them in mainland China. On Thursday night, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention noted that 11 people tested positive for coronavirus in Nebraska. They were previously passengers on the Diamond Princess cruise ship that had been quarantined in Japan.

 

They say this disease was spread from bats. I was listening to NPR in my car on the way home and they said that the corona virus was identical to the virus they found in the bodily fluids of bats they captured. And they saw that the bat viruses they extracted were attacking human cells in a Petri dish.

Well that’s what they get for boiling live bats and making soup out of them.

 

Bats are wonderful. They eat thousands of pest insects a night including mosquitoes and termites. If you’re going to kill them for a bowl of soup, you deserve an infestation

 

For that matter just think of how many dinosaur fossils they destroyed over the millennia because of their belief in the medicinal properties of Dragon soup

 

Well that was bloody obvious wasn't it !!! - A huge ship with hundreds , if not thousands of passengers and crew alll breathing the same air via the air-conditioning system. Only needed one person to be contaminated with the virus, and via that same air conditioning system, it would spread to others throughout the ship - which is exactly what happened !!!

 

256 people on that ship are suppose to fly back to Canada, the government will not confirm when. 43 of them are confirmed positive, could be more, probably is,

the 43 confirmed positive will be left in Japan until a flying hospital can be arranged.

now this is how our BS government lies. They say there is only 3 confirmed cases in my province. I know for a fact there has been more than this in my city alone, the government says there is only 8 confirmed cases in all of Canada, when Quebec has 30 confirmed,

Also 76 have tested positive in Alberta. That number is probably conservative. But yet the federal government says only 8 in the entire country. How can people trust a government that clearly lies.

 

Is it true that Chinese fighters in Tyvek suits are walking the streets of Wuhan and surrounding areas and capping people with Coronavirus?

 

I wouldn’t doubt it. Nurses are shaving their heads there in hopes of combatting it. There was also a nurse her married in a gown made out of a hazmat suit.

A Carrier?

A 20-year-old Chinese woman from Wuhan, the epicenter of the Coronavirus outbreak, traveled 675 km (400 miles) north to Anyang where she infected five relatives, without ever showing signs of infection, offering new evidence that the virus can be spread asymptomatically.

According to the report by Dr Meiyun Wang of the People's Hospital of Zhengzhou University and colleagues, doctors isolated the woman and tested her for the virus after her relatives started getting sick.

Initially, the young woman tested negative for the virus, but a follow-up test was positive.

All five of her relatives developed COVID-19 pneumonia, but as of February 11, the young woman still had not developed any symptoms, her chest CT remained normal and she had no fever, stomach or respiratory symptoms, such as cough or sore throat.

that is really interesting. Yes, I think she very well could be a carrier, or perhaps the incubation time in her is simply longer, for some reason. She needs to be in a plastic bubble. Maybe she has had so much bat soup that she has developed an immunity to it. Like injecting yourself with what you are allergic to, in order to fight it off. She may have had the flu previously. Makes me wonder as well that if people survive it, might they become carriers?

also, why now are bats coming out with this? The remedy might be in the bat. They don’t get sick from it? Was it from testing done on bats at the level 4 virus facility in Wuhan? Then these bats were released? Just like if you get a snake bite, you are injected with it, I believe it is something that is extracted from horses that have been injected with snake bite venom.

 

And is it only bats in that area or all over? Do they already have the antidote and just waiting for many to have it so that they can make money and sell their medicine? Save the day.

I think there's some kind of middle road here. But yes, how they do it is key.
I'm at odds with several chinese consumer practices, especially traditional health cures that to them justifies torturing bears and funding the killing of several endangered species... for bogus reasons! Fuck those traditional beliefs

 

Some cultures are better than others.
