there are many many many cases of cops shooting dogs because they feel 'threatened'
often times they shoot the dog in a non-lethal way and just let it bleed out in the corner because they don't give a fuck.

 

Nobody ever wants to say it out loud, but all I can say is when it comes to police, thank god I'm white. It's ridiculous how racist all aspects of the legal system still are.

 

Stand in front of the car. Those dash cams have audio right?

 

The fact that I'm white has never kept the cops from fuckin with me. I once got pulled out of my car and searched simply because I was sitting in my car in MY OWN DRIVEWAY listening to music.

Indeed. The Kathryn Johnston murder was fukt up too. The cops basically manufactured a case, then went into that 92 year-old woman's home, DIDN'T announce themselves as law enforcement, shot her to death, and then tried to cover it up. It's all we heard about in GA for a while.

Look at history, cops have been a tool used by the government to suppress, and abuse our rights. I don't hate any individually, but rather the whole cop system.

 

^^^I hate the system, as well as the cops, for the most part. SOME cops are decent and are just doing their jobs, instead of trying their hardest to fuck up as many lives as possible.

Mostly I think people have been saying that they respect good cops but not bad ones. And there are way more than just a few bad apples.

Basically, there are two kinds of people who are attracted to police work. The ones that want to help, and the ones who want to get away with being assholes

Either way though, to play devil's advocate, you have to take into account the sheer amount of lies and assholes a cop on normal beat duty or patrol has to deal with in any given day. It'd make anyone more than a little jaded.

 

^ I agree. And there are certainly situations where cops need to be tough.

Abuse of police power is rampant, however.

 

I hate most cops. Why? Because every single one of them knew what they were signing up for; to protect the system and suppress the people. I think the system fucking sucks.

And I think we're all well on our way to becoming a police state/NWO.

 

I agree but I wouldn't say it's quite like that. I'd put it this way:

How many people truly generous and willing to put their life on the line for complete strangers?

How many people are just out there living life for themselves and those that they love?

I'll tell you - there are a LOT more people in the second category. If there is just one truly generous person for every ten assholes, then that same concentration of good/bad will exist in the police force. And then you take those nine assholes, give them guns, a superiority complex, and virtual immunity within the justice system? Well right damn you're going to have a problem.
