someone did. i didn't really think of the racist part. originally my avi was a raccoon in space.thus the name/idea. think of that raccoon from guardians of the galaxy.
Nah it's settled already. You have insulted someone with a racially charged Avatar. You can expect pickets and media coverage to decend upon you now. Doesn't matter if you changed it. They will trace your genetic roots back to slavery.
or possibly traced back to being an actual slave...you know what color this dudes skin is?...i don't...but its not always white
why would i change it now that the media will be knocking my door it will seem even more suspect. i ain't dumb bro. *starts making coffee for the media ppl*
NotMyRealName likes to pose being called and/or perceived as a racist by someone else on the internet severely influences ones life or the rest of an online discussion (which usually only happens if you let it). He (ab)used it as an excuse to not elaborate or provide sources on his views. I guess now he tries to convince others of it. Jokingly of course!
i think its funny how people who know perfectly well that bigotry expresses and demonstrates ignorance and stupidity, still cherish excuses for it in their heart. well maybe not so funny, because it screws up the kind of world ALL people have to live in.
Black people have plenty of opportunity here in the UK and they are no longer oppressed into the menial jobs. 30 years ago, most black people working in our hospitals would have been pushing trolleys or cleaning toilets. Today, we have a percentage of both black and Asian doctors that exceeds their percentage of the countries population.
Mum used to buy these for me all the time when I was a kid, chocolate biscuits in the shape of little black dudes. Didnt help that the Jackson 5 at the same time had the same haircuts
I've heard coon used a handful of times growing up but it only came out of asshole white dudes mouths. As to a word used to describe blacks who side with whites I recall there being some movie I watched where they referred to them as Uncle Toms
