Convo up in this bitch

Yeah I am a music freak as well and have my 160gig and 320gig hdds full of music and movies. I would love to own an awesome 7.1 system with full receiver to hook up all my audio sources but my funds just aren't ANYWHERE near sufficient.

 

I need some fundage.

 

I thought about turning my current PC into a music machine but then I thought about doing the server. That was better.

 

I listen to a lot of shit with extremely raw production too so it would be a little superfluous for me to go all out with speakers i think. i mean if i had deep pockets i still woulda bought like a $350 2.1 in leiu of an equally expensive surround sound system (substitute 350 with whatever price you want id still have gone 2.1). btw since i had to use my lap tops built in speakers and the desk top speakers that came with our 6 year old emachines computer, i have noticed that REALLY shitty speakers actually enhanced some of the songs :rofl:

 

Oh yes its Tues, which means its wing nite once again. I havent eaten anything except a small turkey sandwich at lunch, I cannot wait.

I don't think I have spent much money on music over the last 10 years or so. I have like 300 cd's that I put into my system then I downloaded the rest. I think the last CD I bought was back in the 90's. I do sometimes get a CD as a present but once I put it into my computer it becomes part of the hoard. I have a bunch of geek friends, like 10 or more that come over three times a year and we have a geek weekend. A LAN Party. They all bring over thier computers we play games and share files. Drink, Smoke, Eat, Fart, Yell, that kind of thing. I have personally sucked their computers dry of all files. Thus the large storage. I throw almost nothing away. The next one is coming up as a matter of fact, next month.

I need to start saving my money. I'm gonna have to cut back on buying weed here soon. all im gonna ask for Christmas is friggen cash. My b-day isnt till February....

 

Most places just add more salt to make them "hotter". I do love em hot but, I still prefer to be able to taste them.

 

Me and two of my friends would do that. we would set up the LAN in my buddies huge computer room and play all night long. we did this like four times over the summer. Fun as hell.

MMORGs are not allowed during the LAN party. The rule is you can play those anytime so why waste the weekend. We mostly play first person shooters and such some real time and so on. We often get a new game and all learn it together.
