Bah, I just walked home from the library, and I could smell cookies and headies the second I walked in the front door. And what do I find after walking up 3 flights of stairs? Cookies in the oven and headies in the air. They should definitely sell candles that are scented like cookies and headies, it's heavenly. And my roomate is just sitting on the couch watching The Hills, hahah, he was embarrassed when I walked in I think...

ughh you guys, i just started taking lexapro today for my anxiety and it seriously has made me feel like i've been trippin balls all day.. except i'm not seeing shit aha

for real though, i have all the effects that tripping on shrooms give you, even the dilated pupils.. i feel so weird, and confused and disoriented.. i hope this side effect doesn't last long i don't like it at all

Just be patient with it. The side effects should get better if not clear up completely after 7 days or so. I know with lexapro, a lot of people get somnolence, or like being sooo sleepy you are kind of half asleep, half awake, which could lead too disorientation at first. But again, this will usually disappear within a week or so. My girlfriend was on it for about 3 years, much higher dosage then you, and she had a lot of success with it. Just watch yourself girl, and let your doctor know if the side effects get too crazy.

Also, if the side effects get too unbearable, but you want to stick it out, your DR will probably prescribe you some sort of xanax/valium/ativan to balance the unpleasant symptoms as your body adjusts.
