:( Chemigals. That is a hard spot.

We were pretty sure we didn't want any more children and then there was a scare and we knew we didn't want any more children (funny that! lol) So it was easy for us to go through for it. We are very comfy with adopting or fostering if we ever wanted more. It is a bit scary as it's PERMANENT, but at the same time... it's really kinda sexy!!! :) I guess we're just lucky we're on the same page.

For the most part, sure. But after watching what he went through, I doubt he'd let any doc touch him like that again. lol I am 100% confident that neither of us will ever have biological children in our lives. Even if we ever separated, both of us would not want children. This I am certain of.

And thanks Chemi. I love the man so much and have great respect for him doing this. He always says he feels guilty for the amount of stuff women have to endure in their lives physically compared to men. He felt it was the "fair" thing to do. :)

Same here! My husband thinks I am FUCKING crazy. But I just know by paying attention. Glad I'm not the only "crazy" one. :)

Im on the worst of the Worst I take the Depo shot.. no periods gained weight went through some emotional stages for the first 6 month , but works and has worked for 5 years now. I have no tissue lost or bone density lost . I Can not have a child right now it would be selfish on my part, and my hubby's . We are not ready and we can not afford it. When the time is right i will get off the shot and it will take a year but i am willing to wait. If god forbid some reason i cant have kids, ill just adopt.

what do you mean? they do not harm fertilized eggs, or even unfertilized eggs. they just stop you from ovulating. no potential babies killed.
    that being said, pills suck.
i may be getting an iud.

Many forms of birth control pills contain progestins, which thin the endometrium, the walls of the uterus, which in turn causes it to become inhospitable to a conceived ovum. This inhospitality may cause a newly conceived human being not to implant in the endometrium and cause an abortion.

    You may find this interesting...

I've never really read into the different birth controlsslssls, I just went on the pill 2 years agooo, been comfy on it, so meh ^^ Cans I just aska question about it though... In the week after your break, is it safe noot to use jonnies? I read somewhere you have to be on the pill for a week to be covered, but I dunno, it doesn't say anything about it in the instructions xD

i felt that way too as soon as i hit the reply button lol.
i did not realize there was a progesterone only pill that is meant to alter the environment in the uterus, i thought they all had estrogen as well.
but the estrogen pills really do stop you from ovulating, so i dont see how they are abortificant.
im not concerned about my birth control possibly preventing a fertilized egg from implanting btw.
though i do believe doctors should inform women of that possibility with any birth control to make sure it doesnt contradict their morals.

dragonvine - in theory, the birth control pill is effective 99% of the time (or wahtever the stat is). So it doesn't matter which week you are on, the protection factor is essentially the same. So get busy getten'er on!!!

go to your doc/pharmacy and ask for an info leaflet. think its blue.

but yea, as long as you take the packs properly and safely, dont miss loads, arent taking them late or on antibiotics, then yeah. you should be protected for the whole 28 days

I've always religiously used condoms regardless of the girl I'm with being on the pill or not, but now that I'm married, I use the pull out method as well... I can always tell when I'm about to cum well ahead of "too late" so I don't have any "accidents" and I've read the same studies saying that there is no sperm in pre-ejaculate. We've been married for 3 years and still baby-less, so I guess it works, and if it ends up not working, then no biggie for us. About the only time I use condoms now is if we're having marathon sex ;) or if I'm about to cum and she's not close yet.
