I really liked the movie, but b/f is a big movie critic & thought it was just ok.

I hope I enjoy it when I go. Most movies that get big hype are very disappointing. Oh well.

To each his/her own. That's why they call them "critics". Everyone's got different taste in movies, music, clothes, food, guys/girls, etc etc etc....:p

I saw it last night and I liked it. I don't think I'd watch it again and I'll admit to confusion through a good portion of it, but I enjoyed it. I never really liked Keanu, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I really liked this movie. I saw it opening weekend and donated to the 30 million it made. I thought Keanu was top notch as John COnstantine. The storyline was good and there were only a couple slow points. The special effects were amazing and I loved how the basically opened the movie with a crazy exorcism. Make sure to stay till the credits are done for an extra scene worth waiting for.

I am probably the only fan of the original comic who actually liked this movie. Sure it took enough liberties with the whole concept that it could be called something completely different entirely but the character was the same and the subject matter was the same and I think it was one of the better movies to come out this year considering the sea of crap plagueing me at the moment.

    Anyway, I'm rambling, good movie.

I saw it, but it didnt really do much to me. I forgot about it pretty much right after seeing it.

Not a bad film. Not as good as Matrix, but a worthwhile cinematic fest with enough dry humour and CGI to carry it through the gates of acceptability. The ending was a touch on the melodramatic, but since it's based on a comic book I turned a blind eye.

Several of my Friends went to see I and said it was one of the worst movies they had ever seen... Ill wait for it to come out on video... I hate spending all that money on a movie if it sucks... id rather spend 2 bucks versus 20....

I thought it was terrible. It had a fairly interesting premise, but Keanu Reeves is the worst actor in the entire world. If he can ruin the Matrix, he can sure as hell ruin this. I don't know, maybe I would've enjoyed it if it had been anyone else. It was interesting, but his delivery way too overdone and hilarious.

since Keanu Reeves is good, and Rachel Weisz is my favourite british actress i am going to give this film a chance!
