More so economic, a bit socially but I'd say I'm more moderate socially.

 

i'm ultra liberal both economically and socially, i believe voluntary collectivism is possible with major shifts in the role of corporations in our daily lives, not likeley to happen i know, but that's my ideology. my beliefs aside, i won't let a conservative smoke my bud. i'll gladly sit down and burn one with them if they have their own, and have a discussion if they can be civil and not try and impose some neo-con fundamentalist christian bullshit on me, but as far as letting them smoke my bud, i can't do it in good consience. it's exactly like ranger said, "sucking the dick that just fucked you". anyone who supports the party of nancy reagan's just say no bullshit ain't smoking my hard earned nuggets.

are you assuming that everytime i smoked bud with people i drill them about their political affiliations? i don't often bring up politics while smoking, but in this case it pertained to the subject of the post. i said my peice. i don't care what people believe, i dont impose on others, but i also don't want to waste my bud getting conservatives high, when the fact they are smoking weed in the first place is the fucking height of hypocrisy. all morals until it comes to something they actually enjoy huh? yea fuck that...

 

How is it hypocritical though, being conservative doesn't mean being anti-drug, they did a poll that showed 2/3 of registered Democrats and 1/3 of Republicans would support marijuana being legalized and taxed. One part of being conservative could also mean thinking the government shouldn't have the right to regulate drugs at all.

yea, see you said it yourself, one third of republicans support marijuana legalization, well below a majority. and that's if that is even accurate, i have a feeling its not, that doesn't seem like that poll could even be logistically conducted. do you happen to have a link to it? what did they do, ask every registered voter?

and even if it were true that would be a relection of the the average republican citizen, not the people that they elect to represent them. people don't always vote consistentley with their beliefs. you can't deny that the republican party is hard on drugs, it's just that simple. the bush administration wanted to make hemp FOOD, the densest source of plant protein containing all naturally occuring ammino acids, illegal. the dea, under bush, raids medical hospices, and the supreme court has ruled that federal law overrides a state's rights to establish a medical marijauna policy. so yes, i think republican weed smokers are hypocrites.
