Conjoined Twins and Marriage

What if one dies? Would the other one then have to be put down? Damn--it's confusing. Is this even a legitimate question?

Given that there's only one body, they'll die at the same time, or rather, the body will die and both of it's inhabitants will be forced to follow it.

And parts of the body will stop working prematurely if something happens to one's head, given how brain-stems work and all...

OK-they have two hearts,4 lungs,3 kidneys,etc. My question about what if one died,etc was answered. Their hearts only have one circulatory system. So,one goes,they both go.

and if they share the same circulatory system, it's cool because only one of them can drink and the other will get drunk too i guess lol

if one of them feels one side and the other feels the other, there must be a turning point, you know like, you rub your hand across your belly starting from one side to the other, and there must be a time where you stop feeling it lol

I think they consider themselves to be two different people sharing a body.

 

I was going to bring that up myself. They fathered 21 children between the two of them.

Maybe put yourself into their shoes, reading all these 'jokes' about them and imagine how they themselves would feel in response. You really think you aren't saying anything bad, laughing at someone elses misfortune???

 

this thread has captivated me every post of the way as I read it from the beginning up to here. I must bow my head in shame as I have nothing intelligent nor witty to add to this conversation.

but yeah, the criminal punishment aspect of it would be really difficult to work out. Say for instance the one girl devised a plan to poison someone. she got it done, went to trial, found guilty, what do you sentence her/them. would it be some lockdown facility that's not like regular prison but like a nice hotel? because u cant punish the innocent but at the same time you can't let the murderer go free.
