its a bad habbit...one ya shoulda grown outta when u grew outta elementary school but the congo question.. no they wont dread to the ends..how can they with no loose hairs to knot together and yea u shpouldnt intentionaly force congos but rather allow thewmwqhenb youir tired of preventing them alsol use care to not allow them to grow too large or they can cause consstant pain i wouldnt ever let mine go over an inch ive let my whole head congfo outta control for 1 year 1 month now seperating only maybe 5 lil hair strands in that whiole time (dreads already thick i didnt want thicker) in that time about 15-20 places as many as 6 thin dreads became 1 thick dread (at least the 6 inches near the roots)leaving 6 thin tails each tons of others formed from 2 3 4 or 5 and only a few places stayed 1 single dread end to end thats just how congos work u can congo from day 1 and get thick solids congos end to end but may become wauy too thick..or u can prevent them til;l they form accidently..or..allow them at any point but results will be in the new grolwth area only if theyre imaturew and loose as hell binding may rewsult in combining to the tips but its a long shot
