I've been reading online about some heroin busts a man caught with 500 bags. They said that was about 11.6 grams of heroin. I thought a bag was .1 meaning 10 bags is a gram and 100 bags being 10 grams n 500 being 50 grams. This is the second article ive see like this another said they had 460 bags n 11.2 grams of raw heroin another 500 bags
Media over reports stuff and twists lots of numbers. A bag in theory is .1, but if he had raw heroin it is expected he cuts it and stretches it out.
One thing that you can be certain of is here in the u.s. when someone gets possession charges the authorities are gonna try to make it out to be as much as they possibly can. They will consider the weight of the cutting agent, the baggie, and the bread tie or whatever (if one is used) and anything they else that they can to be the amount of dope in your possession. Im living in north Carolina currently and about 2 months ago my friends wife got caught with some little shit like vicodin or percacette or something and the charges that she has received for this are "trafficking in opium" and "heroin possession" and she had like 10 or 13 pills and they threw every one of those fuckers on the scales and I guess you can imagine. Close to an oz. and she claims that she cant get her court appointed lawyer to contest the charges. that's why I have one on retainer always just in case
Bags are SUPPOSED to be .1 but I find that's rarely the case where I'm from. I think in NYC it's more commonly between .5 and 1 gram of powder in a bundle.
Yeah if u get pinched with pills they take the weight of the whole pill like 5mg perc with 325mg Apap they weigh it as if it was all oxy...... Fucked up eh??
Ya I was just wondering lol 11 grams 500 bags thats barely half tenth per bag. Just thought the cops were dumb or people are getting ripped off lol. My rule when buying dope is dont buy from other addicts its always shittier smaller n overpriced.
