I haven't gone to a live concert in what seems like ages! I think the last one was in Golden Gate park years ago... I'm too burned out to bother anymore with standing in line, paying outrageous prices for tickets, putting up with hordes of ppl, etc, etc. I decided years ago it was better to watch a concert on TV (where you can actually see the performer's faces and hear the music clearly!) than to be there live. Only reason I went to the last couple of concerts was getting a backstage pass... no hordes of ppl there and I get to see and meet the stars. Otherwise, the whole concert scene is no longer attractive to someone my age. (how sad, eh?) I'll even pass on the GD reunion tour...
I'm going to see RuPauls drag race in a little over a week. Not really a concert but a show. Does that count? I'm going to a show in a few weeks of a band I wont say the name of. I'm going with someone. Not because I care enough to go on my own.
