oooooo, I'm so excited for you! these last few days are hell, eh?
leane never dropped like that, so I don't know about the watermelon between your legs thing....but i had a lot of pain in my groin.....it was never diagnosed why, either, as it continued well after I had Leane.
i can't wait to see her! I still remember you're first post when you found out you were pregnant! at the time, I was at about the stage that you are, lol. Time goes by too fast!

LOL, I just got a phone call while I was typing this....the EA at my dh's college just had a baby boy this morning, 8lbs, 7oz. Poor lady had to have a c-section, though....:( apparently she was too small (she's the same size as me (5'2))). his name is Theadore! Isn't that cute!

You'll be getting Cleomycin every 8 hours for the GBS. Start taking your probiotics now so you don't end up with a yucky yeast infection or thrush after the birth.Almost done, mama! You're doing such a great job!

They do actually. One of the reasons I chose the birth center over a homebirth.

They have birthing balls, birth stools, the bed, sturdy things to lean on and squat against, and a big ole tub fit for both me and Brian...:D If he decides to join me.

Plus, I got some numbers for free doulas....so maybe we'll have a birthing assistant after all. :)

The supplies of the birthing center sound great! I'd chose a birthing center for these reasons, plus, I live in a 8-party house in a shared flat, I can hear peoples music and washing machines and them doing *whatever*, I wouldn't feel comfortable if they heard me eventually screaming all night.
Then again I'd have to move out if I was pregnant, or at least when the baby comes, because it's so small here... hahahaha

    I'm excited too!

We had a babyshower yesterday and this kid, I swear, is going to be sooooo spoiled! Brian and I had bought one set of onesies, a couple pair of socks, and a hat. That's it. This kid is now fully clothed for at least 6 months. And it's all such cute things! There is one little hippie-esque outfit I can't wait to see her in. It's embroidered denim skirt with an orange almost paisley looking top...I just squealed with delight over that one! :D

Plus, grampa-sphere (brian's dad) bought her some cute little shirts at Disneyland last week when he was there. AND he's paying for diaper service for us. As stoic as he is, I think he's just about as excited as we are. :D

    11 days! :D Give or take...Hopefully take...:D

Hey Holly, that's so cool about Brian's Dad picking up the diaper service. I was concerned about your lack of a washing machine in your building. But this is Greeeaaaat! It will make cloth diapering much more viable for you guys.

    Any day now, huh?
