Hello there! For a good while now I've been wanting to join a commune. I've done my research and one day, I hope to create the most self efficient commune out there. But, for now I need to find one that I can help grow and build. Preferably one that's not too far away but, definitely one that can sustain itself at least 70%. Does anyone know of any good communes that are actually possible to join without a fee within the limits of Washington? If not there, then somewhere close by in the U.S. or Canada? Thank you so much!
they're a great idea, that for many reasons is seldom done well, and often faces opposition that is not always overt. but at any rate, as mentioned, this site has a whole section dedicated to the discussion of such concepts. (if i ever won the lottery i'd start one myself. or something very unfamiliar but rather like one.)
