    You must love Milka and Merci chocolate as well, Bird. Those commercials are so sickenly sweet there's no way their products could live up to that.

    Exactly. I am sure if they couldn't they would get sued immediately or at least been reprimanded by an ethical commission.

    There are certain guys who like to think they don't buy into Axe commercials because they see it only as a fun approach to bring the product under the attention. But then I see them spray their deodorant all over their body like in the commercial (instead of just aiming it at their armpits)... :p
    They can be misleading and trick you in using more than you need in lots of different ways. Once you really realize that you must be one apathetic nihilist to still buy all those crap or act upon behaviour displayed in the commercial...

    Please don't bash nihilists. They might be closer to the truth than most others, since truth, like morals, to them has no value.

    I'll bet you do, even if you don't realize it. Ads increase your awareness level of products and services, which can lead to increased curiosity. This effect may be imperceptible to you.

    This is not entirely bad. Nobody can force you to make a bad buying decision. And, look at it from the viewpoint of the company. If you worked hard to create a product or service that you were proud of, wouldn't you want potential customers to be aware of it? That desire is not evil.

    The sales pitch is a free speech concept that goes back thousands of years. Buyer beware!

    To be clear: I really recommend it! If not for the good info, than just for entertainment reasons alone :2thumbsup: I bet you like it (they're still online on uitzending gemist)!

    The desire to get your product under the attention is not evil at all but the way they choose to act upon that desire often is!

    Yes it is (you genius, how did you find that out... :mickey:) but it is one of the better ones!

    Yeah, they even stop movies on tv for some minutes every half hour or so just to throw their stupid products at us.
