I usually just laugh when people try to put me down.

 

my ten year old daughter came back with a pretty good remark to her sister (16), she says, "Bree do me a favor, turn your head to the left, now turn it to the right, now left" she then looks at her sister very seriously and says, "thats me bitch slapping you and I didnt even have to get up!"

OMG, we all laughed and I couldnt even get pissed that she cussed cuz it was so damn good!

 

if someone hugs me when i'm mad, i'll likely punch him in the kidney. he'll piss blood in the morning. it's happened before. not with dave, rather with some random guy who pissed me the fuck off.

but i LOVE verbally sparring. likely that alone would generate a lot of fun happy feelings for me.

I usually brush off insults, but if someone manages to raise my temper me I'll usually come up with something about one of their inner qualities or appearance, or I'll fight them.
like one time, I was getting drunk and some guy said this and that to me and since I didn't know him I made fun of the shirt he was wearing.

I don't get offended, unless it's someone I love really going for blood.

Jests from strangers do nothing for me and I just walk away.

sometimes i get amazed at the insults some kids come up with at camp

 

my other daughters have used this on their friends.

and yes!1 little kids say the cutest little things, things that make you laugh for days.

And yes I have to admit that my kid rules!!

now the 16 year old is a smart ass as well, I like to pester and was going to starbucks and kept listing off all of the different drinks to see if she wanted one. well she kept telling me she didnt want one, so of course i kept pestering her with almost every drink on the menu.....she finally says to me "how bout a cup of shut the fuck up!!" I was speechless.
