This superbowl..... OWNED. the jets deserved to lose last night.... i can kick a field goal better then that. pathetic.
Us Pennslyvanians are some kick ass fans. The kicker probaly would've been able to kick better without the yelling.
or w/o the frozen ball, or the extra timeout. lets face it though, he completely shanked that 2nd one. superbowl is owned alright by the NFC
true but when you're getting paid that much money.... you should be able to perform under those circumstances.
Kickers can't stand Hienz Field. Not only do the fans get to them but, the way it's shaped and it being next to the river the wind can be really unpredictable. Plus, on that one he got a timeout to start doubting himself.
the eagles are gonna get OWNED. completely owned. im in love with the eagles defense right now though.
im not saying there isnt some truth to that but it didnt even really look windy at all. and i mean, where was he the 30 yard line? and.. it wasnt even CLOSE- that is the thing.
hahaha. word. it was funny we were out eating and this one crazy dude yells really loud "well, he's gonna get fired!!" haha... well, it was funny at the time. you should have seen the dude.
the first one was like a 48 yd kick, which is next to impossible in that field so as close as he got is a decent accomplishment for a rookie. The 2nd was a 43 yd kick which is still a decently hard kick there, but there was no wind and he simply shanked it
yes. the ball is spotted roughly 5 yds back from the line of scrimmage and there's 10 yds of endzone adding 15 yds to each kick from the line of scrimmage
Brien got another try at the game-winner, this one from 43 yards. His kick hooked left, and the Jets were headed for their third overtime period in as many weeks. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/
