That's the problem Denver decriminalized an ounce of weed not the rest of the state, but we did try and damn close too.
You can still get busted in Denver if you are caught in or around anything federal such as federal highways, interstates, federal property or the asshole cops that will not just let it go.

Burnt and Ma's love are semi wrong on this. Denver has LEGALIZED marijuana (this is different than DECRIMINALIZED). In denver the private use of marijuana and possession of less than an ounce is legal if you are over 21. However, they can and will bust you on state law which isn't the end of the world. Most denver cops dont give a flying fuck about responsible pot use. Colorado has decriminalized pot on simple possession. You get a 100 fine just like a minor traffic ticket. But it is not LEGAL. what festie? I'm limited on out of state traveling this summer for festies. Funds are tight and the girl is probably moving to NJ til Sept so I got to spend some dollars going to see her. Rothbury is for sure, still trying to put together 10klf for WSMFP
Alright a week in Colorado, without doing too much instate traveling. Here are some activities I'd suggest. You want more info on anything I dive as deep as the crack whore's vagina on colfax. Music....super dank music scene. Many of the kids in the scene have a great heady than thou attitude but you can ignore that bullshit. Not really sure what's playing next week. Denver Red Rocks!!! Cervantes/Quixotes owned by somd old heads...dirty venues cheap as fuck. pretty much anything goes in these places. Fillmore Gothic ogden Bluebird Boulder Fox Theatre Boulder Theater Ft Collins Aggie hodi's Mishawaka....definitely google this place just cause its such a cool tiny venue up the poudre canyon. sitting on the fuckin river....dank...used to be able to camp on the little island next to the venue. My music plans next weekend are going to the Mish on Friday night o see OTT and Shpongle throw down. Definitely should check that shit out if you're down for those tunes Nature Definitely spend a day up in estes park and rocky mountain national. Fuckin awesome. Could spend many days. Boulder Canyon to Nederland is a cool drive...so are the other roads taht shoot off the drive through that canyon..fun to explore. As mentioned Garden of the Gods will melt your face. So will Boulder's Flat Irons in Mt evans is an easy drive to the top of the 14er. Pretty Sweet One obvious activity is RED ROCKS. not just a venue but a fuckin park. Sweet hiking. and views. During the day you can go in the venue and explore.. Cool museum at the top of it, tons of people run the stairs for a workout. If you do this lets coordinate on some shit. I live a 7 min drive away. Tons of other sweet hiking spots. Cool shit around Evergreen Misc Things Art Museum in Denver is super cool. They have a huge ass psychedelic art exhibit right now. Mega. Other various museums and zoo aquarium etc typical fair Coors Field for a Rockies game is cheap. Other interests I can offer some things. As you can see I do better with Denver than Boulder but pretty darn close they are
