    Hello,

a Berlin based coffee roaster found a bag with 33kg of coke between their coffee beans. The beans got delivered from Brazil. What a great example of the declining service quality of the delivery companies ;).

    Hello,

not, I'm not kidding. Someone is still waiting for the coke I guess. I've heard it's worth 1600000 Euros.

humans make big deals about the silliest things. someone at the supply end needed to hide something in a hurry. so they stashed in the coffee. must have worked that it wasn't found. too bad for them though that the beans got shipped before they could get back to it. that's life, when people make a big deal and greed about things like that. i wouldn't want to be in range of anyone at the point where it happened though.

    Hello,

na, I guess the reason why it was in there was to get a cheap and relatively secure passage over the atlantic ocean. And then in Rotterdam or Hamburg or whatever the habour on this side was, they couldn't get it out of the container for some reason. The strange thing is that they just let go 1.6 million bucks.

    Regards
    Gyro

i don't understand the point of torturing someone if your gonna kill them anyway? to teach them a lesson? it's not like they're gonna be able to remember the lesson when they're dead.

    Hello,

I guess it's to teach others a lesson. If you know what could happen to your fingers, you will take better care of your little bag of coke.

    Regards
    Gyro

to get information out of them? or just as a method for the torturer to blow off some steam maybe.

principally it is done, to create false statistics,(usually in the form of false confessions) to reinforce the false claims, of the torturer's employers.
as a means of gaining actually useful and valid intelligence, it is almost completely useless.
(the victim will say anything the torturer wants them to say to get them to stop, thus almost always, whatever confirms the torturer's own, preconceived fantasies)

I hear that you can buy coke on the dark web which is described as 'ethically sourced'.

Maybe that's where they just shoot the guy without torturing them first..
