I only drink coffee when it's cold, and even then it's on rare occasions. I don't really care what kind it is, but I like to put hot chocolate mix in with it.

The darker the better, no sugar, sometimes some coconut cream.

None of this correlates to how I like my men. :p

the usual around here is either green that i roast myself and run thru a good burr grinder, or buying whole bean pre-roasted.
for brewing my daily rig is a melita single cup drip basket or a stove top moka pot and for larger quantities, a vacuum pot that makes a very smooth cuppa joe.
and i usually have a bag of this in the house, it's really good Arabic coffee

While it is true that the roasting process takes away some of the caffeine, it also takes away some of the mass from the coffee. So when you measure out the coffee by weight (the correct method, and the one used by specialty coffee shops) as opposed to volume, you are actually getting more caffeine in the dark roast coffees.

    I am a tea person.

I don't drink coffee much, but I have a fair trade organic dark roasted coffee beans bag in the cupboard that I coarse grind and brew in the french press whenever we have company. It's by the FireRoasted Coffee Co. and it's a Dominican Republic Bani Fair Trade kind.

I like brown coffees. Does that exist in english? Or is that medium roast? For grounded powdered coffees I like Café Cambio's brown Colombian coffee. It has a hint of caramel and just the right amount of acidity.

I don't like acid coffees at all. They give me gut rot and heart burn.

At Tim's I get a Small Double Double (that's double sugar and double cream), again I like something to cut the acid.

Sometimes I serve coffee at home with agave nectar.

I used to buy a couple of different kinds of coarse ground coffees from Trader Joe's, but I live very far away from one now.

I heard this from a musciain who tried coffee all over the World. His view was Mexican is best. I think I agree with him.

When I'm out? Capuccino. I know its a kids drink... but who cares... hehe

sometimes i like to fire up my little esspresso machine, and sometimes i just put coffee crystals in my cold chocklet milk or on ice cream, and sometimes i go for days, weeks or months without any and without missing it.

i don't like the acid flavors of so called french roast and that end of the spectrum. the other end i like, which are called ethiopian or harrare.

as for addatives, hazelnut and coco are both good. and while i do use milk, never white sugar or any of the sugar substitutes. just powdered chocklet (which of course has its own sugar in it), if i use any sweetener instead.

i like coffee, but as a desert, not as a wake me up, not as an every day thing, just as another interesting flavor once in a while.
