Codeine

I agree I went into rehab when I passed out from drinking 2 gallons of beer in a hot tub, then doing tequila funnels later on...alll while on flexeril, xanax, valium, tramadol and codeines. I was so so so sick. I have never wretched like that in my life. I thank god I threw-up or else I know I would have been dead...especially with how many tramadol I took.

 

How many tramadols did you take? I've taken over 1000mg(20 of them) of tram and had a good ole time.

 

i looked up codeine and the reason u could not be feeling is because 6-10% of the caucasian race don't have the necessary thing in the liver to turn it into morphine

 

Yeah I've heard something like that before.

 

Any drug that gets processed by cyp 2d6 will inhibit the biotransformation of codeine--which is inactive--to morphine. One example is Paxil.

Seems kinda strange how tons of morphine is converted (by chemical manufacturers) to codeine, only to have it bundled up with inert fillers and have our bodies transform it back into morphine at some low yield. kinda strange. never understood that one.
