For all Trump's faults and limitations, he is not a "neo-nazi", whatever that is. Give me an example of where he has said anything comparable to what Hitler said about Jews, let along done anything remotely has evil.

Do I consider Trump an admirable man? No, I do not. I do think he has done some good things for America- things that no Democrat would have contemplated. With reluctance I voted for him once, and may well yet again.

I agree with him that China has been "ripping us off" for years. Ok, a better description would be they have not played by the rules. They have cheated. Trump is the first POTUS to stand up to them. While I think his style has left something to be desired, I am glad he has done that.

I fully support his recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Despite the hysterical claims of the left, the Arab world did not "erupt"- not even close. I am even happier that he has pulled the rug out of the awful terrorist-supporting organization UNRWA. Arabs have been playing us for suckers for decades: Trump has said, "No more- grow up".

His Supreme Court appointees have been excellent choices- that is perhaps a POTUS's most enduring legacy. He has at least limited immigration from countries filled with people who hate America- we do not want to end up with a German or Sweden situation with numerous no-go zones (we nearly have some in Michigan as it is).

His style is often atrocious, he is a man in way over his head, but nonetheless he has some solid achievements to his credit. His environmental record has similarly been awful.

 

Also a $779 billion budget deficit, the debt has grown to $22 trillion and a trade war that is basically a tax on all of us. I favor open borders, open markets and open minds...Trump fails at all of these. I'm also concerned about his anti-abortion appointees to the courts. His denial of climate change and rollbacks on environmental protections is worrisome. And who cares where Israel's capitol is? We've been kissing Israel's ass for years and it's got us nothing (except maybe votes for particular congressmen, which is what it's all about anyway in Washington.) I won't even mention his asinine tweets that make him look particularly stupid. I'll vote for a cucumber before I vote for Trump.

 

The tirades about China and trade reflect an abysmal lack of economic impact know.edge. Free trade always has a net increase in economic benefits if there is an adequate continuing investment in the integrity of the process. The second given is that in a trade war the strongest economies fare better than the weaker combatant. Who do you think is currently stronger ..China or the US?
Both Clinton and Obama made necessary investments in the process....I know because I had some involvement in the NAFTA process. The qualification of Trumps Supreme Court appointments is laughable. Trumps horrible behavior towards the environment is consistent with the rest of his elitist anti-social behavior; including the support of the disenfranchisement of the Palestinians. But any impartial review the pattern in the US seems consistent with a fascist view.
