Permafrost melts. It reveals the corpses of ancient creatures. Ancient seeds see the sunlight for the first time 10,000+ years, successfully able to germinate.

Who's to say that ancient pathogens won't do this too?

I think you have the better of the argument, MeAgain. The Devil is supposed to be the architect and embodiment of all forms of evil, not just deceit. Selecting only one of his attributes (deceit) and somehow assuming that the Devil standing in front of a climate machine has something to do with deceiving people about climate is quite a leap. (It might as easily be about deceiving people that climate change isn't a real problem.) But more likely, it is about the Devil inflicting the evils you describe. The three "proof texts" drawn from the Bible are out-of-context verses that "prove" nothing. Deception is certainly one attribute associated with the Devil, but not the only one. Ha-śāṭān (Hebrew: שָּׂטָן) was originally a common noun meaning "accuser" or "adversary", preoccupied with humanity's flaws. (H.A. Kelley (2006) Satan: A Biography; Job, 1:6-22. Belial, another biblical figure equated with the Devil, is described as Lord of Arrogance. Lord of Pride, Without Master, Corrupt Gains, Evil's Brightest Match, Bright Fire of Hell, Goetial King, Hell's Wildfire. I'd argue that the figure of the Devil was borrowed from the Persian Angra Manyu, (Destructive Spirit) chief of the daevas (demons or evil spirits Zoroastrianism).

Anyhow, we don't know what "the artist" had in mind. To seize on a cartoon as somehow an admission of a plot by the Rothschilds seems farfetched. Surely these conspiratorial masters would have the sense not to tip their hand in The Economist, which they supposedly control. What would be the point of that? It seems we have a desperate attempt on the part of ChinaCat to scrape the bottom of the barrel in search of anything that might support his favorite conspiracy theory.

It’s a karmic thing. They tell us their plans in plain view all the time and nobody does anything about it. This is how they get away with it. They never hide anything. They put it in plain view if you have the eyes to see. You can read about this concept in the book, “The Karmic Kismet.”

If you don’t realize these people believe in the Occult, then you’re not gonna understand their methods. Look up the Bohemian Grove if you really think they don’t believe in esoteric concepts. But I realize convincing you is a fruitless activity.

This discussion is precisely why it is so difficult to make any real progress on insuring we have an inhabitable planet. How so much stupidity, nutso conspiracy trash, and ignorance gained so much traction in America is baffling. And yes, much of the blame lies with a certain political party and the red hat numbskulls that perpetrate the lies.

On a bad day I wish I didn’t have the background in science and meteorology I have. At least then I wouldn’t be aware of how dangerous those who have militantly chosen vicious ignorance are to all of us.

 

Ok Mr. Expert give me some real timelines. By such and such a date what happens? I already asked for this and nobody came forth.

 

So, what's in it for him by denying climate change? Is he being paid? Has he been assigned to this particular site? Anti science--pro bible? Who knows. How does he win this particular discussion?

Or possibly he's a certain type of conspiracy nut. Since he seems pretty smart, a possible category is a need to feel unique or special by believing stuff most folks think is batshit crazy, and then defending it with elaborate ratiocinations.

Alex Jones, eh. The guy who lost a defamation suit for saying the murdered Sandy Hook kids were crisis actors faking it. You're a case. Yes, trying to convince us with "evidence" like that is a fruitless activity. This is Q-Anon and Pizza gate on steroids!

 

Quite easy to hoodwink the masses. Exactly when was the term conspiracy termed? There was a time
not long ago when some of these were taken a bit more seriously. & believe me deceit can take many forms. Especially
when outdated ridiculous methods are still utilized. An old saying the devil has already won certainly applies here. As i said before easy to hide evidence. Eliminate & or discredit those with it. One of our easiest to see examples of this is jfk. Just listen to sympathy for the devil. Ya see thats the cabals greatest weapon. Tricking us into hating fearing or ignoring them. Aint saying they should be worshipped as many both unknowingly & knowingly do. Another trick is making us believe we are less than we are. Which also leads to us thinking we are more than? But in a bigger picture there are several deadends than some almost worship.

 

And you know this--how? I have no doubt that it's easy to hoodwink the masses. At least one of our presidential candidates had made a living out of it. But fess up. You have no inside knowledge of what the secret elites are doing, other than your intuition or imagination and internet sources that might be unreliable.

Bohemian Grove is the most conspicuous example of an elite get together in the U.S.--a kind of Rainbow gathering for the rich and famous. It has a quasi-pagan tone, including a ceremony where the attendees' troubles symbolically are transferred to a boat that floats away. How seriously the attendees take this is questionable, and what, if anything, it might have to do with climate change is anybody's guess.

I've known some paranoid schizophrenics in my occupations. They identified one or another powerful secret agency that is running the world and out to get them: the Illuminati, the Masons, the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, the Skull and Bones Society, the telephone company , etc. The common denominators seem to be size, money, and secrecy. These elites must be up to no good! One of the problems is that real ruling elites have a way of covering their tracks, and the folks I know who believe in them lack the resources beyond lively imaginations and internet conspiracy sites to keep up with them. I seriously doubt that these powerful entities are putting clues of their plans out there (e.g., cartoons in the Economist) just to tease us.

I read wrong easy to do here. Was said earlier is no magic. Cant remember who. But i heard hardly any objections. Yeh maybe that name mby a bit silly. But surely youve seen stuff during your time amongst your people? The term karma was first seen by the west in the upanishads. & ofcourse there are endless debates on it. Another way the cabal attacks us is by tripping us up in semantix. Ive seen several cabalic influences as weve most spoken Here. & plz be aware that some hf folks wouldnt touch this thread with 10ft pole. Mores the pity as several threads are polar opposites.
