Thank You For Posting That Information Irm........Nice To See The Truth Up There In Print For A Change...... Cheers Glen.
There are a lot more instant social media feeds this time around too, which is where most of the rest of the media are getting their photos and videos from 2009 fires were the ones with that incident where there were a dozen cars with people inside were bbq'd in a instant on some highway and that's the only image I remember But that was still a bigger event, 3500 homes, 173 dead So it is in part that it just seems worse because we are getting flooded with more imagery taken at precisely the right times
some people think this fake climate change is due to the solar cycle, I think it cycles around every 11 years
Oh it's a media's dream for sure. Kevin Rudd takes a tour to a town for some opportunistic photos, Tony Abbott dresses up in fireman uniform for an opportunistic photo. Fireman reaches through cloud of smoke to the camera man for an opportunistic photo. All the little children posing in darkness of day with teddy bears for an opportunistic photo. It's the best case scenario for the media at the moment and they are loving this you can be assured. Newspaper sales are up, network new reporting high watching amount for national news. The media can feed anything they want to the public at the moment.
People just don't seem to get it man. When a national disaster happens and the political parties of the nations start warring and casting blame between themselves before actually sufficiently resolving the problem that tells right there they don't care about you. It is my opinion that they do not care about the people at this stage. Former minister Rudd has a photo taken doing nothing few days later is former rival take a photo doing nothing. It's just bullshit. The Australian government and would be leaders to me at least have only shown this; that your loss of house, land or life is only important as a statistic to help fuel the next election campaign. They do not care about you as a person, you're just a number, a statistic to be used for personal and political gains. People need to start waking up to it as well it's not just bushfires in Australia. Everybody in the world is literally only a statistic to who's in control. We are nothing.
Isn't just the politicians. Rest of the country seemed more interested in how long Scomo was on holidays for or if the fireworks in Sydney should go ahead moreso than the actual emergency
A lot of that is media driven though. My Facebook feed blew up for days about Morrison on holiday. Literally days non stop articles and people sharing articles about. Firstly whether he's on holiday or not who gives a fuck, let's sort some shit out first and we'll get that to that bullshit later. But the media was non stop and it's only purpose was to turn people against the government, that's how they do it.
Same here. Everyone cracking the shits over Morrison going away on holiday. Now it's people who lit the fires blaming the Government for their own insecurities
Could it possibly be people can also get a misleading picture what a country's whole populace and every politician in it, when that itself is largely based on what's on tv/mainstream news and their facebook feed? Just a consideration.
Yes 100% Facebook uses algorythms to dictate what you actually see and don't see. It uses your personal interests and likes to gather news for you which most of the time you agree with because you have agreed to let Facebook use that information on your sign up document. It then uses algorythms to filter news, articles and suggested posts based on your personal selected preferences.
Oh and if people think that climate change is to do with the weather you are wrong. However, if you have a bushfire and it's strong enough to reach the sky it can start thunderstorms.
Found out that the NSW Police Force have taken legal action against 180 people who have deliberately lit some fires across NSW. Just tells you that there are some flogs about that are to be blamed rather than the government.
There may be a new habitable planet, though I can't help but feel like it's not a realistic option. First potentially habitable Earth-size planet discovered by TESS mission, and it's nearby - CNN
Lol. 100 light years away, so we'll need about 5 generations of explorers in the mission to even get there. Good one NASA.
