The media is neither an entity or that uniform. Also, who's stopping us from discussing these things?
So you think there's more to the story of Noahs ark then to the theory of how much humans impact the atmosphere since the industrial revolution?
My reply: Not only do I think there's more to the story of Noah's ark than any human impact on our atmosphere or climate, I have huge doubts about humans being able to do anything meaningful to change said climate, short of re-greening the deserts through permaculture methods. I'm not certain how lasting that impact will be, but I'm certain it will be beneficial, especially given the fact that green plants breath in what we breath out while supplying us with oxygen in return. You'll find ample evidence that we get more greenhouse gas emissions from a single volcanic eruption than anything the industrial revolution can come up with. Also, I mentioned previously our enemedia's obsession with driving climate hysteria, even though these climate swings follow somewhat predictable cycles, just as the media's obsession does.
Climate change is really to do with what people do. I've mentioned this earlier. Even told VG that it's people's ignorance towards it. I've gone to places before where people have not put their rubbish away in the bin. I've been to places where people have decided to get drunk and then use their glass bottles as weapons against others. A mate told me he was at the cricket yesterday and a bloke who couldn't hold his drinks that well decided to urinate all over a cop. Things like that are just disgusting. But look if people decided to pull their own heads in and did what was right we would be all on top of climate change.
Isn't their a statistic that shows how much methane fart comes out of sheep in NZ in comparison to the rest of the world? No wonder Australia Constantly burns in heat it's shrouded by a fart cloud from the east. My point being, sometimes it's not about the rubbish on the ground. Sometimes it's not about urinating on police officers. Believe it or not, paper not put in a bin doesn't actually heat the earth up and neither does pissing on respected member of the community, but animal farts do.
My reply: <sigh> Any idea how much methane was generated all those millions of bison roaming the land until the European settlers killed them nearly to extinction?
But even if everyone disposes of their stuff properly there are very few things that can be recycled fully. Most of us don't know what actually happens to all the stuff we don't see that gets thrown away. I just don't see any real long term solution that doesn't involve curbing the human population. Otherwise it's just going to keep building up until every inch of the earth is covered in either landfill, concrete apartments, shopping malls, windfarms and of course rubbish Even if everyone on the planet has an electric car powered by "renewable" energy. That still means trillions of tyres and car parts to get thrown out that break down into smaller and smaller pieces
All these Boomers going to be falling off soon and they all gonna wanna be buried too. It's just a waste of space. New rule! Ovens or nothin' and by nothin' I mean you just get ovened anyway.
