A few more came to mind: Once Upon A Time In America The Hustler Catch Me If You Can The Departed War Of The Worlds Glory
I see people listing a lot of movies I would not consider "classics" Breakfast at Tiffany's - love Audry all of James Dean's movies
Blade Runner Gladiator Dark Knight Trilogy Casino Royale Man of Steel Bourne Trilogy The Watchmen Yeah that's pretty much it.
True Romance. I never get tired of that movie. It's a love story wrapped in drugs and mass carnage. Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, James Gandalfini, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, Bronson Pinchot, Christopher Penn, Brad Pitt, and Val Kilmer. Perfect. Apocalypse Now Eraserhead (disturbing movie) The Usual Suspects Reservoir Dogs Anything with zombies My father had a lifetime pass to General Cinemas. We saw everything for $1.00. My wife and I were young and broke so used to spend our weekends watching movies....2-3 movies a day, sneaking in drinks and candy. The only movie we feel we got screwed paying to see was Cabin Boy. We want our $2.00 back.
No one mentioned The Goonies?! Casino 40 Year Old Virgin Get Smart Accepted I was gonna say that haha.
I'm surprised to see so much Disney! I used to watch a lot of zombie films over and over, growing up it used to films like Groundhog Day, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters... Lately it's mostly: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Big Lebowski, The Shining, Ip Man 2, Happy Gilmore, True Romance, Burn after reading...
pulp fiction - all tarentino is good, but this is the only one I can keep coming back to fully entertained Fargo - coen brothers Amélie - love the cinematography
Aliens Predator Jaws Shawshank Redemption Jurassic Park Forest Gump White Fang The Shining The Neverending Story Twister The Mummy Terminator 2 + many more. I don't really like the new movies coming out and all these come on the TV annually and I still continue to watch them every year.
Not a classic maybe, but I like to watch "Transformers" over and over. Lol! Once I thought about this I realized something. This movie may be interesting to me because I grew up watching transformers. It might be dumb for someone who is older and didn't ever experience transformers.
HA I grew up on Transformers as well and I loved the first one, although a bit long. I watched it a lot, but I am highly disappointed on all the sequels. Lately, I find movies very repetitive. Classics, while great, run their course into boredom after a while. That said, I never really tire of Shrek, all 4; Toy story 1,2 and Despicable me, Minions all around. Apart from the above, I tend to lean on TV shows. Not mainstream but Independent features such as: Utopia or Carnival.
