I like a few films, though in short, I'd have go for;- King Solomon's Mines - (Stewart Granger version) - as a child I recall it opened up the World of African Wildlife (count the different animals they (film) shot) It's a Wonderful Life - well it is Christmas - and the Message of it is based on humanity and not religion Leon = Great performance (I think) from a very young Natalie V for Vendetta = "People shouldn't be afraid of their Governments, Governments should be afraid of their People" = Viva la Revolution Excalibur = A bit raw, could have been much Grander, but the simplicity of a Trinity Love story, a Legend steeped in Hope, Unification and "Merlin" Magic, I found poignant Lord of the Rings Trilogy - I have a day of entertainment with that viewing =It affords many sub-stories of my own imagination wiTch stimulates my creative writing in the time thereafter Apocalypse now - (Full (Extended) version) - Music, Humour, War (and futility of it), Psychological, thought-provoking, the Horror of it all, - with "The End" and "Ride of the Valkyries" fighting it out for my Funeral song Hair and Rocky Horror get me in the mood for singing/dancing And of Course (Lest we forget!) Woodstock = "Turn on, Tune in and Drop out" - 'Man'!
All the Star Wars films Grandma's Boy Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle 21 Jump Street Dawn of the Dead (not the remake garbage one) House of 1000 Corpses
Forrest Gump Star Treks 2 & 6 Goodfellas The Mist Star Wars films The Big Lebowski Napoleon Dynamite The Godfather 1 & 2 Nolan's Batman trilogy Walk the Line Ray 2001: A Space Odyssey
Of course I also love Forrest Gump! Napolean Dynamite The Godfather Groundhog Day O Brother Where Art Thou? Fargo What Women Want and the BEST...Being John Malkovich He's hilarious! I was on set with him in 2009 while an extra in Secretariat. They shot race scenes at Keeneland race track, my fave race track.
You know I watched Being John Malkovich years ago when I was in High School (Secondary school). I think I was too young and dull to get a lot of it to be honest, maybe I should give it another crack. That's cool you saw him on set. He's a fine actor.
I definately want to see Being John Malkovich again as well! I loved that movie the first time I saw it, and it must be years ago.
for me the movie i could watch all the time is The English Patient. and when im stoned my fav movie to watch is apocalypse now redux
Not a movie but later remade as a movie the TV series The Singing Detective I have on DVD and have watched over and over again. The first time it was screened, I was left speechless. have never seen anything like it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090521/?ref_=nv_sr_2
I forgot THX-1138. The human drones being in service to whomever lives above ground. I have an idea who lives up there. Anything with the Marx brothers. " I wouldn't join any organization that would have me as a member."
