I'd still take it. I know a guy who imports cars from Japan and drives them all around. It interesting when he pulls up to a drive through window.
@Grand prix I too love those Olds... I had a Delta 88 that would fly, had a huge engine, automatic, air, landau roof, totally restored in Las Vegas, the poor fellow passed away the day it was delivered back to him. His widow gave me the car for $500 to just get rid of it. I loved tooling around Vegas in 'Urge" as she was named... sold her for $3000 when I left town.
Where I grew up (on St Thomas in the USVI) we had all these left hand drive cars, but drove on the left. Heldover from the Danish days when they ruled... I got very adept at driving with challenges there...we had Mini Mokes, VW Bugs and Land Rovers to conquer the steep hills with mega potholes (if there was pavement at all).
Several years ago i bought a 1970 Bonneville convertible in Vegas. Hung out there for a week then headed back to Pennsylvania. I did a lot of rt.66, the Grand Canyon, hoover dam. It was an incredible trip!
Those Olds were so comfortable... like riding around in your living room sofa with a view But Urge got just 9 miles a gallon, on the highway. A guzzler... @Grand prix, you have great talent! I hope you are recovering well and pain is a thing of the past.
I have an external fixator sticking out of my pelvis since the accident. It comes off tomorrow. I should be able to start walking soon. I have every intention of walking out of here by oct 1st.
