The average American is too fat, lazy and self interested to engage in civil war. The American way is to bitch about things we have no control over and then forget about it 15 minutes later.

High hopes for a country that elects a president to trash his own government, is called false hope. The republican response will be to repeal more laws. They are selling our laws and legal system to the highest bidder one piece at a time, and have been doing it rather well for over twenty years. Your constitutional rights have been suspended indefinitely and your vote no longer amounts to a hill of beans, but you are free to complain on reality TV, if it increases ratings. Vote democrat, and they will still sell you down the fucking river, because whether you are a democrat or republican doesn't fucking matter, when the idiots vote for whoever advertises the most.
I have felt for a time that the behavior of many suggests they would actually like a war. But I think it's attention seeking behavior in the long run and disregard it.
With that in mind, we should remember that even if they don't realise it, some of those who would fight the status quo do so because their animal instincts tell them they will be the top dogs of the new status quo.
Republicans have been progressively destroying our government and selling it off piece by piece to the highest bidder for half a century, and are increasingly frustrated by their failed attempts to change the government by voting for whichever clown screams the loudest. If the US elects Oprah next, she could be the first black female president assassinated. Republicans prefer to shoot democrats, showing their support for the NRA. They would have killed Obama's family, had any of them shown any political leanings. At any rate, the minute anyone shows any signs of taking back our government, they will be assassinated and the US will be lucky to avoid a civil war. Not because the natives are restless, but because there's big bucks in our government remaining as corrupt as possible, but it has to change for the better sooner or later, or go down the toilet altogether. WWI started with an assassination of a Duke nobody gave a crap about, except those with money. Governments exist to prevent the gerbils from eating each other, and the mindless masses. Libertarians exist to fill their wallets, not destroy governments, but they have no morals whatsoever, much less, sanity or impulse control. While that might sound like rhetoric, it can all be proven with the latest scientific research. Republicans are so worthless to waste time talking to, that their own children are abandoning fundamentalist services en mass and moving to the cities. They are literally destroying their own population and many would like to give them a hand in committing genocide against the KKK from within. The idea that anyone has more meaningless rhetoric to feed them then they already feed themselves is absurd. Arguing with the assholes or spreading rumors only confirms for them that they are important, and they measure their status according to who hates them. Donald Duck was a democrat elected against the wishes of his own party leaders, because they hate themselves and each other almost as much as everyone else, which is why they hate Muslims more than anyone, because they can relate to them.
Indeed ! This is America's dilemma in a nutshell. Pure partisan politics , blind loyalty to a name and organization as opposed to critical examination of what's happening. In the case of the bankster bailouts from Obama, partisan Democrats said, " oh it's a good thing because Obama is doing it ", ridiculous ! A civil war is on the way , no doubt about that however not sure of timing just yet. As the middle class slowly disappears odds of civil war increase. It's the middle class that have provided cohesiveness in society. They're in a vice with no way out. Now it appears both parties will yet again play with hot button issues to obfuscate what's really happening to the country and partisans on both sides will herald their candidate as the new savior for our time.

A twenty year study by Princeton concluded it made no difference whatsoever who was elected to office, only the wealthy ever got anything they wanted. America's political problem stems from the fact the money just kept flooding in after WWII, and took on a life of its own, while the average American has always been as dumb as a bag of rocks. The minute the Soviet Union fell apart, the cost of freedom and democracy shot through the roof. Americans are so dumb, the white population is crashing faster than any other from their own corruption. The cheapest, easiest, and worst act of terrorism anyone could possibly commit today, would be to throw cash off the tops of skyscrapers and overpasses during rush hour. Do it in a dozen cities simultaneously, and it will cost them billions of dollars, and you can rest assured that the tax payers will notice. They want that cash, not more promises from bankers and politicians. You can argue all you want that grabbing that cash will only increase their taxes, and they will keep doing it anyway. Its been possible for a few years now to replace every bureaucrat in DC with AI programs, but you'll never hear a republican suggest we reduce the size of government. Not until the idiots start to realize China is already replacing their entire electronics assembly line. People are becoming irrelevant, which is exactly how corruption thrives.
