    My great uncle fought in WWI and WWII.
    All I know is that he said during WWII he spent most of his time hiding in basements in Italy drinking wine.

    I did see The Pianist, and it was enlightening. Fascinating to say the least in spite of all the depressing aspects. In my travels I visited Warsaw, and met with a decorated hero from WWII who had been part of an attack with Molotov Cocktails against a German tank. She told us of her harrowing escape through the sewage tunnels as the Nazis poured gasoline into the tunnels and lit it on fire.
    That's one of the reasons I love travel, meeting people and listening to their amazing experiences and thinking how blessed I have been living a life in peace and actually being able to travel.
    BTW we took a train to Krakow from there, and also had a wonderful time exploring a city that wasn't destroyed by the Germans and then rebuilt, as Warsaw was.

    If anybody is going to remove Putin , it should be the Russians themselves, imo..............Dont think that Prigozjin is the one.............:D

    He is smart to get out now...........i would hide if i were him............lol.

    Well Putin has supposedly confirmed that he is dead... even Wagner Group posted that he was in Hell.

    Putin probably grabbed the couple billion dollars in gold, diamonds and cash that he had amassed along the way.

    Wanted to add to this older post, news reports say that someone detonated a grenade on the airplane he was in. Also that they were doing blow like crazy in the air. Personally I feel like someone was told they were going to be killed for taking part in the rebellion possibly. They offered the chance to let someone set off a grenade and told them we will give your family loads of cash, and your sons will never be forced to fight in the war. It's happened in other countries so who knows.

    Thoughts?
