I think smoking pot is just fine so I proudly ignore the law, something that those on the right think is wrong. I also intend to own any firearm I want regardless of if it is legal or not, something those on the left think is wrong. All this shit the majority of idiots would have me do or not do...fuck off already. You ain't my mom and I've never done anything to you.
Society comes with some burdens. You say we are not your mom yet have a very selfish attitude. That of a small child ME ME ME ME. Terrible twos or terrible 42?
Yes but I'm not a burden on society, it attempts to burden me. Besides, you are the one who is so fond on dwelling on the past. Tell the slaves that society has it's burdens. Tell the natives forced off their lands that society has it's burdens. Tell draftees sent to fight some immoral war that society has it's burdens.
This is again a pretty juvenile assessment of what I said. You are part of society and society has rules. This is what adults understand. You can not always have your juice box. This is why for example there are laws on open carry of a gun or a limit on "free speech" The burden exists since you choose to live here. You have not founded your own country have you? Intresting you bring up a racial issue related to this.
I don't see OP's statement as the same as this. There is true morals and silly libertarian understandings of the world. Can we really say racial equality is the same as "I can do whatever I want with my gun. does that not upset you?"
no, obviously that's not the same. that's also not what OP said. either way, the point was about protesting nonsensical laws, which i don't consider childish whether the law is truly evil or just stupid.
He did "I will own any gun I want regardless of how the left feels about". Is that not similar to what I said.?
In general it's just comical to me when gun owners take that kind of stance. As if they are truly a victim so all the more reason to have more guns. Guns are for children and scared men. That is my point.
Because they are "tools" which make that man not afraid. He does not feel like he is enough unless he has it. For example many who open carry will say they are "naked" without it. They can not go into public for fear of getting shot. This is the kind of thinking that gets people meds. A level of paranoia that's not how most live. When this is pointed out they say you are the fool since you want to die. Only a small percent of men world wide feel this need for guns. The numbers don't lie most men don't need this.
i guess you could call it similar, in the loosest way possible. but owning any gun an doing whatever you want with a gun are very much not the same thing.
Yes they are The NRA wants no gun laws. Own anything and no cops can ever take it away even when you have a criminal record since it's thought crime. Until you kill people with the gun there is no crime. That's pretty much doing anything you want. It's a system that is so pro gun there is no room for law. A right can not have laws.
So you are basing your (lousy) opinion on men and guns based on a few guys you may have seen on youtube who open carry?
You think "the left" are just a bunch of liberals? And I wouldn't classify this statement as civil disobedience.
Yeah, posting on Hip Forums about the atrocities of the world would be a better example. What acts of civil disobedience have you committed lately?
I do many acts, on a frequent basis. To say the least. And I wasn't saying that this individual doesn't engage in resistance practices, I was just clarifying that their statement doesn't actually have anything to do with civil disobedience. Although from an individualist perspective I guess it might.
