Circumcision can be defined as preventive amputation, and preventive amputation is patently absurd on its face. If someone (let's call him "person A" or "the circumcision advocate") is bent on submitting a host of "scientific studies" (so-called) which purport to establish alleged health benefits for the preventive amputation of healthy tissue (i.e. pathology-free tissue), then it's only natural that others are going to respond in kind by posting counter-studies which negate the original study or studies.

It's unfortunate ... but that's how science works !

The studies are there, and they effectively neutralize the outright fraudulence of circumcision advocacy.

 

If I can produce a scientific study that effectively debunks your so-called scientific study, then it necessarily follows that my study must be valid and that your study must be invalid.

I see so this must apply to all subjects, so the study I have that shows tougher gun laws lowers crime rates somehow completely negates the other study that shows higher gun ownership rates lowers crime rates, now they both in theory negate each other, so they both must be correct, but both must be wrong.

only a very tiny percentage of babies receive anesthesia.way less then 1% of male babies in the US. even with better anesthesia machines anesthesia is very dangerous to give to a baby.

 

there's this thing used on most minor surgeries called local anesthesia you know

 

this procedure is barbaric the baby is strapped to a table with full restraints and awake the entire time. an full grown adult cant break the restraints they use. an adult would never be treated like this. why do it to a helpless baby when you wouldent do it to an adult.
foot binding was preformed for hundreds of years and is now completely illegal
female Circumcision was also done for hundreds of years and is now completely illegal
female and male Circumcision are both essential the same. a section of the body densely packed with nerve tissue is removed. both procedures should have been banned at the same time.
if a person is born with completely healthy tissue there is no sane reason to remove it. finger nails and toe nails have very little purpose why not remove them
if every part of the body that had little to no use was removed there would not be a lot left

 

most pediatric surgons dont use local anesthesia on babys because and i quote
" they wont rember" every pediatric surgeon will phrase it differently .

both are incredibly wrong . what were the people that created these procedures thinking.
ex. lets see if we cut this maybe the child wont get HIV. this book written 2000 years ago says i should do this lets do that. end ex.
this procedure is more then 2000 years old. so when someone in the 18-19 century asked the medical or religious community. some one thought. hey this is 2000 years old its in the bible . we cant stop using it now lets say it has a health benefit. we might need to prove it sir. thats ok find some uncut children and some cut ones and give the health checks. if more of the uncut ones then cut catch hiv then it works.if that dosent work we will try something else.

Not so much. About a third of the time for US infants. Many of the deaths due to infant circumcision get logged as reaction to anesthesia. It's not very safe with newborns so doctors avoid it.

Commonly used is EMLA numbing creme, but that can't be applied to the interior of the foreskin until the first painful tearing has already been done, and then the doctor would have to wait 20 more minutes for full effect. EMLA is not fully effective anyway since the nerve supply for the penis arrives through the core,not along the skin.

Damn fuckin spoiled American brats should be lucky they have a 1 in 3 chance, about 1/3 of the world's men are circumcised and the vast majority of those were done as rites of passage ceremonies where they were more then old enough to remember and with no chance of anesthesia. Pansy Americans.

a am angry that i was Circumsized. i was 2-3 when it was done. and i was awake during it. for the last 20 years i have had nightmares about it. i can still remember the pain.
i am not angry with my parents but the doctor that convinced them. i had no defense against it. the fact that i was awake makes me furious. no one should have to go through that. i have tried very hard to repress these memories. but every time i see a pediatric surgeon i want to damage them (i wont say anything stronger then damage). when i managed to get my medical record there was no reason listed why they Circumsized me. and no mention why they left me awake.

 

how can this be stopped so it dosent happen to anyone else?
