if anything circumsision is a extremely bizzar pointless tradition that realy doesnt matter, i say just dont do it if it realy doesnt matter, why go through with it, plus your son may have a different opinon when hes older and be very against it,but hes your son and you have the option so whatever, this is a pretty fruitless argument

but not by choice. This had to be done because of a medical reason. I am diabetic and came down with what is called "Primois". That is where the foreskin cannot be skinned back. It got to the point where I couldn't hardly urinate. I had to have it done at the age of 59 and it wan't any picnic. That was 2 years ago and I am still having trouble with tenderness.

 

I'm uncircumsized and can't imagine what it would be like to be cut. But then again, guys who are circumsized can't imagine what it would be like to be uncut. My point? hmmm I am circumcized but i didnt have my son cut. Couldnt bear the thought of letting have a part of his penis cut off w/o anastesia. If he wants it cut he can get it done when he's 18.

My circumcision was part of a ritual that gave me the birthrites of my heritage. While I no longer practice that faith, I cannot deny that I am intrinsically bound to the culture of my youth... and I feel I am a better person BECAUSE of this.

 

I am not circumcised and loving it. Foreskins are cool gadgets for girls to play with or a guy can go solo.

As a woman, i absolutely prefer uncut. Cut is gross on several levels. I've read a lot about circumcision and with my facts can say that i too find it absolutely ridiculous, unecessary and outdated. It's sole reason for existing this day is due to fear of embarassment and rejection. It is no less sanitary or hygenic to be circumcised at all. It's a savage surgical procedure which should be abolished by all means.

I alone gather from personal experience that most men who are cut take much much longer to get off and work much harder for it. An interesting fact i read from several sources indicated that men who are not cut experience 68-72% MORE sensitivity during sexual activities, which makes entire sense; Imagine your whole life your most sensitive body part, which is SUPPOSED to be wrapped up in safe keeping, being continuously rubbed against stiff fabrics. This desensitizes it by an imense amount. A cut man cannot say he's not missing out on anything, because he really has no idea. as a woman i also imagine not having my little hood covering my button, first and foremost it would be painful having my button rubbing up against my jeans all day. Secondly, in years she would become practically useless as all the sensitivity would be drained. I've also read personal accounts from uncut men who decided to go for the cut in later years. These men were absolutely devestated at the loss of sensation after only a few months. In every story i read, their main reason was embarassment. Mutilate your genitals because of what your friday night date might think??? If a woman (or man) can't appreciate their mate in all his natural glory she/he ought to go fuck a Ken doll. What a ridiculous society we live in that we mutilate our own genitals because we're brainwashed to think that cutting foreskin is what the 'natural & beautiful' state of the genitals. barf~!

 

Generalizing the entire "medical community" as being pro-circumcision is unfair to say just becase it's still a routine procedure. Actually more doctors disagree with it than agree and many will suggest you not do it to your son and let him have the option when he's of age.

my cousin recently marrfied and american and moved there. she had a little baby boy the other week and thy had him circumsized because of some shit like the rest of his family had it done or some crap like that. i mean their not jewish, muslim or any otyher religion that circumsizes people

i was appauled how could she let that shit happen

my mother is a midwife and shes seen it done and she said it was really horrible and wouldnt wish it on anyone.

American doctors probably started it because you guys don’t have a free health service over their and that the circumcision would put up the price of the whole thing. My cousins not an idiot how could she let that shit happen



why then would doctors in the us start or ask people if they want their sons circumsizedif they werent froma religion that practised it. its crazy.



and dont give me that health reason crap, that its cleaner and that if you dont you get infections what aload of rubish. you would have to have never washed for years coupling that with sleeping with loads of people with sti's then you might get an infection but only if you were really filthy and got stuff under there some how i dont no and the it got infected then maybe.



i mean its part of your body if it caused so much problems then we wouldnt be born with it or the billions (or what ever number it is i dont know) of men who have foreskins would be going to the doctors all the time about it or thye would all feel that if that rubish they spout is true they would be saying to themselves oh damm not another infection that foreskin of mine has been nothing but trouble sinse i was born i better get it choped off. yea right

That's the law. In some cases the law is good, but the people making laws are so very corrupt that it is an honest person's job to determine where the law should be abided and where not. On the issue of mutilating your children, it should not be followed. Parents aren't allowed to have sex with their children, so they shouldn't be allowed to mutilate their genitals either.

I myself find it sickening that anything can be considered okay because it's an act of faith. Religion is a prison. What about some people who want to remove certain parts of their little girls because their cult believes it's necessary. That's fine. Not genital mutilation. Just an act of faith. Except it only counts for the mainstream religions that aren't allowed to be challenged in a politically correct world. Removing the foreskin for Jews, fine. Removing the clitorus for a cult group, barbaric. It's fucking stupid. And I'll tell you you don't have the right to mutilate your child's body.

And on the issue of comparison to vaccinations, they are just terrible for people. Do some reading. I would probably rather be cut than vaccinated. But, I'm uncut and vaccinated. So there.

 

The line is drawn where a religion infringes on the rights of another person who has not given their consent. If a grown man wants his dick cut up, it's his business. But doing it to a baby is just wrong.

And I said that you have to judge. Those emo kids should not be allowed to make the choice to kill themselves. But then, no one is allowed to. I actually do believe suicide should be legal, but the emo kids are just playing around. they don't really want to die.

And we'd have a much better world without religion. Explain what religion does to the world that is any good. The only thing religion does is keep people trapped in an illusion, unaware of their true nature.

 

Yes, but they're a lot of people being brainwashed into believing lies that hide their true nature from them. Again, the world has not evolved because of religion. It would be a much better place without it.

And the line has already been drawn. Torture it illegal because it invades another person's rights. Circumcision is not a necessary procedure, and therefore amounts to torture.
