And if they knew anything about the normal anatomy, they'd know YOU NEVER EVER PULL SOMEONE'S FORESKIN BACK TO DO ANYTHING TO IT. It is self-cleaning, as it has been in all mammals for 65 million years. Intact boys need no special care. You wouldn'y swirl your finger around in your daughter's vagina looking for stuff to clean, and his equipment is even flushed to a hygenic state by sterile urine leaving the body.

When he is old enough to do it himself, he can retract to the degree he is comfortable and rinse with clear water. In time his own curious manipulations will make his skin comfortably retractable, at which time he can wash it to whatever standard he considers clean.

Non-surgical foreskin restoration is comfortable and largely effortless. You can add about an inch of slack skin per year. The result is very worthwhile. The new slinky skin affords protection for the glans and mucosa, and the skin glides and rolls during intimacy to give a man and his partner a whole new frictionless mode that is just awesome. Restoring won't replace the 50% of pleasure-receptibe nerve endings that are lost, but it makes what's left work a LOT better.

Really? Smegma's a myth? 'Cause I've seen what claims to be pictures... :ack2:

There IS a lot of mythology surrounding smegma.

It's very real. But it's in no way unhygenic. It's almost never seen on someone who bathes daily. There is no such thing as a smegma gland. What we call smegma is just the ordinary accumulation of the mature skin cells which your whole body is sloughing off at a rate of about 1000 per minute. This debris dissolves or is digested by beneficial bacteria and the result is smegma, a precious lubricant and emolient for the glans, shaft mucosa, and foreskin (and clitoris and clitoral hood). If you want to see it like in the exagerated pictures you've probably seen, just keep a male with a foreskin from bathing for a few days.

The point is that YOU never pull SOMEONE ELSE's foreskin back to clean it.

If they're not old enough to do it for themselves, it does NOT need doing. Retracting a child's foreskin can cause injury. Tell even your doctor: "HANDS OFF my kid's penis!" If he/she needs to see the glans ask the kid to show you. S/he never needs to see the glans unless a specific pathology or defect of the area is suggested by other symptoms.

i know dudes who had to get circ. at older age. and i've seen pics of dudes who had probs from not cleaning well. cleaning urself only makes good sense in my opinion. just like any other part of the body. we generate stuff than can create sores and blackheads etc. and keeping clean helps. so wash that willie and wash it good, lol.

It should be up to the man to decide, not be decided at birth by his parents. Let him grow up, try it out, and decide for himself. I didn't cut my son and I didn't pierce my daughters ears either. Their bodies, their choice. Not mine.

I am circumsized, so I wouldn't know what it's like not to be. I know I would keep myself clean though. I hear that when they circumsize you, it takes away some sensation in the penis. I always just wonder if stuff feels better for uncut guys.

    Don't wonder. Restore.

Non-surgical foreskin restoration is easy, painless, and discreet. It does take time.

Why not Kramer's? He's the one who tried to stop the circumcision in that episode.

The actual source of Elaine's personality is Larry David, who told Dustin Hoffman: "They say it's got more sensitivity with the foreskin there, but I don't know, if I had any more pleasure I'd have a heart attack." (as told to Jay Leno the Tonight Show).

Well good for Larry David, but I'll take ALL the pleasure and decide for myself if it's too much, thanks.

Ever notice how uncircumcised guys are the most sensitive about their dicks.

    Yes, pun intended

I'm circumsized and like it, I can't imagine trying to find my dick under all that skin right before sex.

I was circumcised at the age of 6 and I don't like it.. What male fondly remembers having part of his penis removed? Remembered is the key word in that hypothetical question.. most of you who were cut and like it, don't remember having it done or what your penis was like before the procedure.

That said, personal issues aside I'm still undecided on if i'd do it to my own son. I keep hearing conflicting reports in the media on if it's healthier or not. I guess when the decision ever comes up, I'll do some more research and go from there.

The normal slack skin is part of the penis. It includes over half of the specialized pleasure-receptive nerve endings. But it's not a separate part; babies aren't born with a dotted line and the words "cut here" on the penis. Circumcisions vary a lot in their destructiveness, cosmetics, and functional outcome.

Only 2 of every 1000 intact men choose to get circumcised. Foreskin isn't the wrapper, it's the candy. It feels REALLY good.

After doing some more research on what circumcision actually does to the penis, I am honestly very angry that this was done to me before I could even decide for myself. I will NEVER EVER EVER do this to my children if/when I have them.

Oh, I know and I read about that a while back. I was mostly teasing, but I happen to like the way that I am and I wouldn't change it if I could.

There is no way for me to imagine being another way, but I am already plenty sensitive, and if I were more sensitive, would not last as long. I would rather last longer than feel more... or I could just be saying that because of the way it is set up for me. But a good number of women prefer it circumcised and I am more than happy to oblige. :D

Would I circumcised my son if I had one? Maybe, for the lulz. No, but really, many doctors actually recommend it and I don't think they are just saying that for the bling bling, but I could be wrong.

And showing the procedure of the practice doesn't prove it's wrong, btw.

Circumcision isn't required, especially during the neonatal period, and it can hardly ever be justified on rational grounds.

It MUST be wrong to do it, since there are no valid medical reasons for doing it.

It's sort of like hiring a doctor to cut off your mother's nose while she's laid up in a hospital.

If there were some type of medical emergency that required it, you could argue that you've got a legal right to give proxy consent.

It's really just a form of sexual aggression against infants and children.

That's what I'm saying, my dick is pretty damn sensitive as it is and lasting longer makes for both a better orgasm and happier female.
