check your definition of mutilation, mutilation does not have to destroy the function of a body part, mutilation: "an injury that causes disfigurement or that deprives you of a limb or other important body part" since circumcision removes part of the body part and removes the natural gliding and protective effects it does lessen the function of that part of the body.

Evolution has been perfecting the foreskin in every mammal on earth for at least 65 million years (long before surgery, soap, or even running water).

"Hygiene" doesn't mean aggressive cleaning, it means "proper care."

The proper care for a baby's natural foreskin is leave it alone. Sterile urine leaving the body flushes the inner foreskin space to a hygienic and germ-resistant state.

If you can retract your own foreskin and want to be fresher than fresh, you can rinse with clear water. If you're a clean freak, avoid the temptation to use soap on the glans and mucosa. Go with a gentle non-soap liquid skin cleanser like Cetaphil, but understand you're monkeying with the natural emolients and the natural ecology for the beneficial bacteria that belong there.

it makes it more pleasurable, the skin creates a rolling bearing that doesn't rely on heavy friction like circumcised mastubation does, when I restored my foreskin once I had enough skin it just felt like it should have always been like that

this is taken way out of context, foreskin itself is not likely to get infected, urinary tract infections in the first year of life are slightly higher, but een intact males have 1/3 the risk that girls do, and we wouldn't recommend cutting anything off them. every mammal has a foreskin but yet they need no special care....

Non-surgical foreskin restoration is just tensioning the remaining skin, which causes the normal process of cell division to speed up until you're getting more new deep skin cells than the number working their way to the surface and sloughing off. In time, the tension basically lengthens the skin tube until it can act like a foreskin. You don't get back the lost pleasure-receptive nerve endings but you make the ones you've got left work much better.

I signed up just to contribute to this conversation: I was cut as a all-american baby, and I'd absolutely give my left nut to see what my dick was supposed to feel like.

Obviously we cut guys can still have orgasms, and orgasms feel pretty fcking good; but the thing is... someone trying to fck with the sex lives of their peoples wouldn't make them sterile, they'd just say, cut off their clits (or perhaps foreskins?)

there are many ways, the tlctugger is one of them, you can also use something as basic as medical tape, rubber bands and safety pins, that's what I used and regrew my foreskin in a about a year. essentially what you do is place tension on the shaft skin constently as more skin/tissue gradually grow, eventually you have a foreskin

that's the thing with foreskins, they can be so short that you an swear the person is circumcised or be so long they hang down and inch or two, they can vary a lot, although I think the "average" ends right past the the tip when flaccid.

I think circumcision is popular in America cheifly because parents are squemish about touching their child's penis. They don't want to skin it back and wash it, and then teach their sons how to do it himself, when he gets old enough. And keep on him about it, like "did you brush your teeth?". Some might be worried that taking care of his uncut penis will teach him masturbation sooner, too.

I think it ought to be criminal to permanently change a perfectly normal part of a person's body when they're unable to consent.

I'm cut and I like my penis fine but I wish it wasn't. And it might be a "grass is greener" thing, but I just know that if I didn't like being uncut, I could have it done. Having had it done, I can't do the reverse. Foreskin restoration is not the same. Why need to have painful procedures that don't have as good a result as if someone didn't fuck it up in the first place, when you were a baby?
