jesus christ pineman, you got circumcised last week and you can already masturbate? i would have figured you'd be out of commission for a month. aren't you usually?
I know I probably should have been & was probably taking a foolish risk in even attempting it, but the urge was just so overpoweringly strong. Besides, I suspect that what surgical method is used may make a difference. Mine was a Sleeve Resection, stitched inward (and very neatly too, I might add) apart from the final 2 stitches either side of the frenulum. Although I had tried to masturbate as per normal, only a lot more gently using the Pencil Grip (Forefinger down the base of the shaft, Thumb on top), this had been getting me nowhere, but then I found that by applying plenty of lube & stimulating the glans directly it felt as if I was getting closer, although still with no success. It was only yesterday when I eventually tried the whole thing daubed in lube, with frequent re-applications when I finally succeeded. The stitches now appear to be all but gone, so I'm hoping that the healing process will improve & the sweling will go down a bit, and that eventually I won't have to use so much lube, otherwise it's going to get pretty costly.
Don't do it. The foreskin has thousands of nerve endings that contribute to a man's sexual pleasure. If you do have a son, NEVER try to forcibly retract his foreskin because it can cause infections and other problems. Boys foreskins are attached to the glans at birth and will eventually be able to be retracted as he gets older.
I would advise against circumcising your child. I was never circumcised myself, and I turned out fine. When I get erect, my foreskin rolls back to fully expose my glans on its own. Has been that way since I was in my mid teens. As for cleaning his penis when he's still a baby... I'm with monkjr on this, consult a pediatrician about it. Only consider circumcision IF there's actually some sort of medical necessity for it. Otherwise, leave it be. All the best!
I couldn't agree more. Despite having just been circumcised myself, if it hadn't been a medical necessity there's no way I would possibly considered it for what can only be described as reasons of vanity. It's bad enough that anyone should have to undergo the procedure when it's necessary, foolhardy when it's merely a matter of personal choice (once old enough to make the choice), but to force it unnecessarily on an infant for no other reason than culture, religion, or social status is, quite frankly, nothing short of barbaric & should be outlawed.
I was forced to have circumcision as a baby, the weight of the foreskin would have given me back problems in adulthood.
You got the general idea right, but: Noooo, and never pull it at all, as others have said. sometime in puberty is when it will fully retract.
good for eberyone - i'm cut - its a barbaric practice uness there is medical or cultural reason. 4skins are natural - leave him his Simon :sunny:
When i have kids if i have a son i will not cut my baby unless there are medical reasons he has to be... I knew someone she cut her baby and it got so infected and went wrong  The poor kid had to have like 3 surgeries on it... i felt so bad for him. I don't have a particular favor for cut or uncut... I guess if i had to choose i would choose uncut.... i think it feels better and its more fun to play with
By including 'cultural' in you exemptions you nullify your claim of barbarity altogether. Apart from medical reasons it's a barbaric practice altogether, regardless of the reason.
tell that to all the people that had to have their appendix removed. and to a lesser extent their tonsils. as for DS, i am circumcised and i dont mind it at all. in fact the only thing that bothers me is wondering why my mother decided to do it. how do you bring that up in conversation? or should i go on wondering forever? now all that being said if i had a boy i would lean on the side of uncut unless the mother had a good reason for cutting it. my last girlfriend had two boys and she had them both cut and when i asked why she said she didnt want to clean them....that isnt a good reason.
Humans alter their bodies every day. Males shave, cut their hair, color it, and women pierce their ears, shave their legs, color their hair, get boob jobs, put on makeup, etc. So altering one's body is the norm, not the exception. Circumcising the penis is just another example of this, done for religious, health or cosmetic reasons. And if it is like mine, I still have most of my foreskin - it just sits behind the glans. Best of both worlds...
You make a valid point, but it doesn't apply to the issue of circumcising a child. If a person chooses to alter their own body, then yes they have every right to, and it is the norm. For a person to decide that their child should have part of their penis cut off because it fits their(frankly ridiculous) cultural norms, sounds more like random meaningless cruelty to a defenseless child.
Those examples are ones where the peson is old enough to make that choice themselves. Circumcision the child does not get a choice
