Well, Hey.. I will be sending in my 20 tomorrow. Glad we got an addy so we can get Ranger n Rita connected.

Like I said before. I am not electronic geek.. but I was just inspired by a thought. Is that converter thing like a transformer that goes to your battery or a generator.. say like in a camper? perhaps a junkyard has an old camper that they can slavage something like that from.. ya think?

Well Kenny, I never denied being a shit starter. It's one of the few things I am good at

It was LOVE that killed the Beast, it is love that makes the world go round, money just greases the wheel. It's the Love we have and hold for one another. It hasnt changed. In the final outcome it will be Love that saves us all.

If we cant find the love in us to help our brothers and sisters then everything we stood for means nothing and we were just out for a joy ride. I believe it goes deeper and is more meaningful then just a trip.

It was WHY we were there and what kept us united all these yrs. Even if some had not been in touch for 35/40 yrs, when we did reconnect it was a Coming Home feeling for each and everyone of us.

Love is meant to share, to give to thoes around you, thoes who lives was intertwined with oneanothers in a meaningfull gathering of the ones called. We came on the same Light Beam, it shined on us and drew us to gather in one place, to reinforce and to make whole the Changes that we were to make in society with what we were given as the Light penatrated and stemulated the Movement and gave us the tools to overcome adversity and challenge authurity in the name of LOVE.

We are still these same ppl, we have grown and learned, we became wise in our knowledge of things just outside the box we came in. We took chances and we stood up and faught for what was right for the ALL and not just a few.

Creator has it's warriors too. They are called Archangels and come to battle the beast that was sent to devour our Spirits. But when Creator chose which ones were to be sent, the strongest and the best were sent to get the job done.

For us to be here now, doing what we were sent to do, we are fulfilling our assignment to Show The Love. We did GOOD.

I would like to take this moment to thank Great Spirit for leading us all home.

Hi all. Kenny my mail goes out today. Business to Business thang if you know what I mean.

RE: Inverter...that is an easy piece of gear and now a days with so many off grid and mobile usage they are available in lotsa places and relative cheap. I have seen them for as low as 50 bucks for a good small one. ANY auto parts store has em. 12volt in and 115/120 60hz out. Great for laptop that is precharged correctly! Keeping an extra battery charged from the alternator (or Generator on the older rigs) is a good thing to make happen so that you can ALWAYS start up your Rig on the main battery as the second battery is for Laptop usage only, easy stuff. Approiate a golf cart BIG 12 volt or BIG Cat 12v battery if you can as they hold big charge and r good for laptop usage. The internet is wireless all over now and you may even be able to get a signal at a lot of the Flee/swap meets nowadays. Need to make sure the Laptop is set up for wireless when you buy it tho. That is very important especially if looking at a pre-owned/used unit! This was how we wahs set up our first one out of our last rig about 10 years ago. I bet today way more easy even???

Sat throught a big earthquake yesterday thought I was having a seizure!! lol but was just the ground doing a boogie dance!!

The new ride is working fine and we had a good first day bay at the market after almost two months. We'll be able to pay it off over the next two months now that Rita and I have both started getting small but regular SS checks.

My last encounter with Cyril Isaacs
One of my previous business endeavors had me traveling quite a bit. I did a fair amount of flying across the country. Often my flights would find me laid over in Denver CO. waiting for my connecting flight. So many times I would think of Cyril when I passed through there: Cripple Creek CO. was his home stomping grounds, and when he finally left the west coast he went back there. I so longed for the time when we might sit and laugh about times gone by. So whenever I had a lay over in Denver I would try to find his Ph # in the phone book at the airport, or I'd call information to see if they had a listing for a "Cyril Isaacs"; nope, never had any listing. Well this one time (I guess about 4 years ago) I was again in Denver on lay over. I had the most profound feeling of the presence of my old friend that I was actually looking for him in the airport. Of course, I didn't find him but I kept looking; the feeling was that strong. I knew that all previous attempts to find a phone # had failed but I decided to look again. Well there it was; Cyril Isaacs. So I called the # and a younger mans voice answered. I asked "is this Cyril Isaacs?" He said yes. I told him that obviously I was looking for another Cyril Isaacs who was older than he. He asked "what Cyril Isaacs was that?" I said "oh, he was a bit of an excentric artist from the old SF days. He says "are you a friend of his?"
I says "oh yes, he & I were very good friends and I long to touch base with him". Then he says "that Cyril Isaacs is my father"...... !!??!?! I says "Boogie?" He says "Well yes, but I haven't been called that in many years". The hair stood up on my heck and arms! I says "Boogie, my name is Mouseman and I knew you when you were just a wee one. I've been longing to find your dad for many years so we might laugh together again". Boogie says "Well, I'm sorry you're a little late; dad died of a heart attack about three weeks ago. He was in his art gallery, the place he loved the most".
We talked a short while; Boogie told me that he himself was in the US Army (an officer, I believe;go figure?) and was just about to be deployed to Iraq.
My plane was about to leave so I wished him well and ran to catch my flight.

 

Mouseman, I was very moved by your story. I know you typed it through tears. Cyril's Spirit was with you and directed you to make that call so you would have closure. It is a 'chilling' experience to be touched by The Divine. Cyril was a well loved brother.

I too was 'searching' for ones that meant so much to me.. That's what inspired me to open The Garden, so there would be a place to connect. I figured that if I was lookin' there had to be other of us lookin' also.

When ones started showing up, it was a dream come true. Then here recently a flood of GE'ers came in and the LOVE flowed and we cried tears of joy and we were Home again with our brothers and sisters that we shared so much with and went through so much with.

We Tripped The Light Fantastic across the sky on a magic carpet. We tweeked the stars as we passed through on our way to the infanate. Our cosmic ride took us to places wo/men only see in their dreams. We touched the face of Creator and became the Love we saught.

We rang the bell of freedom to a rock n roll beat that sent a vibration across the Nation. Those that were Consciouse felt the vibe as it caught fire in their hearts and minds and we became of One Mind and set a course to Infinity and back.

The Unity that kept it alive through even Death itself has made it apparent that it was written into the Laws Of The Universe that we remain as One Mind and contenue our efforts to make a difference in ppls lives.

It shows in this place called Hip Forums. How fitting that we have come to make a check point here. For we are some of The Original Haight St. Hippies that did make change occure.

It also shows in the Love we still carry for oneanother, as we come together to help a brother in need. Without his asking, Without hesitation we dig into our selves and give to the cause. A Selfless act of Love. We saw, and we reacted.

Our Medicine is strong, it endures all things. When focused in union it can move mountains and disperce the darkness into the abbis where darkness belongs.

We were born into the Light and shined our becon into the night and it became of the Light inwhich we were born. We have not changed our course, we still strive to bring about change even if it is in a smaller way, in our daily lives.

As we grow in here in our numbers we find ourselves regaining our power and once again showing the love we came to share. We are coming full circle and the furure is again ours to mold.

We have an oppertunity to put wehat we have to good use and help as many of us we can, with what we have. A gesture of what we held and what we hold is still alive and beating out a rythem of love for us to dance to.

I remember Boogie - long, curley hair wearing a rawhide fringe jacket. He was a great kid and always with Cyril (or so it seemed). I wonder how Nancy, Heather and Hopi are doing?

 

Heavy Mouse. it is amazing that we do not lose the power to sense the nauras of those we are connected tol. But what is really strange, atr least to me, is that Boogie was obviously named Cyril Isaacs JUNIOR.

It is so nice to know that brother Cyril had a happy and full life. “… He was in his art gallery, the place he loved the most”. I count myself as graced in having that knowledge. A grounded feeling of serenity emanates in me when I think of him. Others of us are not as lucky. But we, as a family can change all of that, as well. As we help each other, together. To a happy and full life.

In regard to Boogie, as we remember him, and who could forget Boogie, a cool little dude, a rock star, Mr. Cyril Isaacs, perhaps we should invite him to check out his dads old friends from way back when, here in this forum. Maybe, Mouseman? A phone call. Of course little kids usually don’t remember others long after they’ve grown up, but that’s not the point. My point is that maybe this place would open up a whole new world for the man. Folks that called his dad, brother. How his dad ran. More insight. Another dimension. My dad died when I was 6. So, I can have no idea. That’s my thought. Maybe he’d enjoy it all.

Besides, when you’re in action overseas, it’s nice to be able to take a brain break from it all and rest ones emotions, when you can get some internet time. This could prove to be a really nice chill-out space, for anyone who’s under pressure. Get to know new people.

Just an idea. I’d welcome him here. He might even enjoy the Oregon Country Fare. If we let him know about it. (I mean, if we tell him.) Who knows.

 

I have a son named Demian. I’d like to get him involved here. But how do you get someone interested in checking out a new place with people who they do not know? Any thoughts or ideas on this, folks?

In case you’re curious, yes it’s true that I myself haven’t put any donation number on this bulletin board. There’s a reason. As partners, I feel that I owe Ranger more. So, I don’t want to create any comparative with what I give and with what anyone else may choose to give. That is why. It’s all the same.

In truth, s/he who can afford to give the least but does give anyhow, is the biggest hero and the biggest heart. That is always true.
