I've already told some others that are here, by telephone, that a server costs a ton of money and it has to be housed in a climate controlled building. (A.C and heating bill) There's an electric bill an other expenses and the initial cost of the software.
The bills must get paid, or there is nothing. You deserve to make a buck as well, if ya are.

It is said the first profession was prostitution.
Therefore money is only a credit system to support exploitation.
Last hippies I heard of were against exploitation.

People who pay for stuff do so cause they can, having procured funds by participation in the credit system which is built on exploitation [which is anti-hippie culture]. That does not mean those who couldn't pay do not provide valued input or that without them the discussions would be worthwhile for anyone, paid or not.

If those who express opinions contrary to those who paid are seen as disrespectful, we must redefine respect.
And site engineers who are HIP know that money represents nothing.
Money cannot be eaten as food can.

His computer server and electric bill costs money. This entire webspace would not exist without money. And without him.

Let us behave like we are quests. I appreciate this thread. I would hate to see it shut down just because someone who is new here wishes to wax poetic about the evils of money.

Money is a Trade tool. Your work and your energy saved up, to be used later on.
Please don't be the person who gets this thread shut down just because you personally don't like money.

This is not a debate. The owner of the website needs to pay bills. Or the website closes. You have nothing to do with that. You are a guest here.

Respect is about giving credit to those where credit is do. And it certainly is here. Respect does not equate to money. Money is a human tool. Just like a hammer or a saw is a human tool.

And therein lay the reasons for my short rant against naming and accepting a name (hippieor hippy or beatnick even left and right).,,, - whose definition , what really was/is happening by and large within the group that accepts that name. those fringely associated and those who actually were the idealized definition but never accepted the naming as counter to their own defining perceptions.

We had our board meeting via telephone since Ranger is not on the Internet right now. They have no wifi where they are living.

Mike and others. We will soon set up a time and place for our quarterly Church general membership meeting. So, stay tuned. Will be announced. By e-mail and here too.

Board meeting topic was taxes, Fed, and the nonprofit filing.

Main general meeting topic will be a bylaw change to change the board meetings from monthly to once every three months, just like the general meeting are.
And also any topic that you wish to bring up.

Note bylaws can only be changed at a general membership meeting.
